QUOTE(Tainted @ Mar 7 2006, 08:19 PM) She said its either shih tzu,Miniature schnauzer or pug. Then get a MS! If me, I prefer MS to Shih Tzu. the other day she called me to ask whether i want a poodle, but i dont really like poodle,so i said i'll wait until she gets a MS or shih tzu. sighz.. so long,i was actually going to get a shih tzu from a local petshop but she insisted that she will get one for me,as long im wiling to wait. sighz.. |

QUOTE(Tainted @ Mar 7 2006, 10:20 PM) Hahaz good then.Anyway, Im still having troubles with my Muika. Today, for the whole day he has been quite okie, I bring him out to pee/poo and everything seems to be undercontrol. But then, just now.. before I come up, I brought him out for pee/poo but he went into a scary mode. He runs very fast and keep chasing me, then bite everything so agressively. Then, he even barks at me, and growls loudly. Im not sure what did I done that caused him so mad at me.. Really not sure lah.. |

QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Mar 7 2006, 10:40 PM) That is not aggressive, that is being hyper active. He has too much energy so he released it in such a big boost that he made all those antics. Alright.. But I prefer him to release it bit by bit. Release it in one shot is abit too aggresive for me. Owh yea, he scratched my legs until bleeding. When he was charging to the slippers, I quickly took it away then he used his nails to scratch me. QUOTE(Tainted @ Mar 7 2006, 10:41 PM) I'll try my best.Anyway, I brought him for vacination today. Need to feed him the deworm tablet tomorrow. A bit worried about it. |

QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Mar 7 2006, 11:02 PM) Your puppy is young, it is hyper lah.... Very normal with all puppies. All you need is training. I suggest you find a website on dog training or buy a book on it. Really helps a lot. Thanks for telling me so much. Hmm, oh yea, do u know why sometimes he do the same but with better attitude ? Like, he doesnt barks or growls, but looks like playing with me. Sometimes, he looks very fierce ? Whats the different ?A dog or puppy won't know what hurts you. Coz in nature, they play rough to excercise the muscle and skill. So of course to us is like hurting us lah. But you gotta understand, a puppy won't know the difference. |

Yea, the vet advise me to feed him the tablet. I know about the bath, hehe. And thanks for the sites too, I do visit it sometimes.btw, fyi u cant bath ur Muika for 1 week time after he took the vac.. Edit: U can visit tis URL to gain more knowlegde abt ur doggie... i personally think it is a good website.. but a bit messy.. Anyway, I just feed him the tablet, a bit difficult to control him as he keep struggle when Im trying to feed him and he doesnt want to get the tablet down, then I have to push it down myself which is the way that the vet taught me. Ahh.. scary. |

QUOTE(@lice~~ @ Mar 8 2006, 10:52 AM) Tat's another method u can use.. mix the tablet together wif the food o snack n let him eat it.. if he is not tat 'smart' then he wil juz swallow it... Hahaz, I tried that just now. I put the dog food and the tablet on my hand and feed him, then he got everything into his mouth then suddenly he spit the tablet out. |

QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Mar 8 2006, 11:00 PM) Will struggle one lah.... Not all dogs will let you open their mouths. To make your dog know you are alpha, then control him, don't always manja manja him. It will become a problem whem older. Hahaz, yea okie.. The open mouth and stick pill not only vet says. EVERY DOG CARE GUIDE BOOK says.... |

I try to train Muika to sit, by giving him dog food by he doesnt care about me. I pressed his back legs to the floor then make him stay like that for like 2-3 secs then only I treat him but its quite difficult.

QUOTE(Cresie @ Mar 10 2006, 12:41 PM) Chill... Cool cool!Training a puppy is never easy. U gotta be patient. I taught my doggie (besides pee/poo) sit, up, stay, come, go, kiss ( basic one lar....u can teach him more if you like And my doggie loves it when i lay him down on the floor and massage his tummy Just now, I bathed Muika. He keep struggles and keep sneezing. Then after that he cries.. awww... So, I bath him in a quick speed, and dry him faster. I dont know how to remove his tear stain and dont know how to clean his ear also... After I bathed him, he keep barked at me, very fierce. |
