Wanna ask tab 7.7 users, would you ever wanted to go back to 5"+ screen? I'm a happy user of galaxy note 1 and this is the longest duration I ever used a phone . Usually I'll change new phone once in 6mths but this note is about 1.5 years already and still using it as my main phone.
Now thinking of trying 7.7" first before going for new 8" tablet. Anyone wanted to swap with me?

current official update was 4.1.2 but it was already good enough for the device. Unofficial CM10.1 also work fine.

last time got rumors that it will received 4.2 by end of this year.

There is no more 7.7 in the market. Accessories are Hardware to Finder too

I was just looking through the general specs of most tabs including the Note 8, and I am really glad I didn't sell off my 7.7. Its a FANTASTIC device. The Only gripe is that its got 1GB Ram compared to the Note 8 and it runs on dual core instead of Quad. But heck, I don't see any difference. The screen beats the 8 anytime in my opinion after comparing the two.
I am only on the verge of rooting my 7.7 so that I can remove the unnecessary bloatware, but am in a dilemma about the ability to root it on my existing firmware. It says "Android 4.1.2 PDA:MD3 /PHONE:MD3 / CSC:MD3",
Whereas they keep insisting that the firmware should be Android 4.1.2 DXMD3.
Both are Jelly Bean firmwares.
Any thoughts anyone?

Can be bricked..
Especially by the uninitiated like me...
Lol

But paid a shop to unbrick for me..
Luckily no problem and now just use with standard 4.1.2
Scared to brick it again..
