How is the battery life of this tablet? Comparing to the likes of iPad or iPad mini? At this price point, from Lazada, this one seems to be a better buy than ipad mini. Expandable memory, incredible screen, jellybean coming soon, and 3G comparing with based model.

My only concern is battery life and gaming performance. Any lagging sis in graphic intense game? smile.gif

You're not interested in Padfone? RM1499 only. Phone + Tablet. But unfortunately both tablet and phone have lousy screen sweat.gif

Tempting price. drool.gif but still prefer a 7 inch to a 10 inch. Right now my concern with this tablet is the battery life and gpu performance.any reviews regarding this tablet now is dated back in 2011, hence it doesn't quite measure the standard in 2013. any thoughts on that?

Battery life is still awesome I think (especially if you come from phones), even compared to ipad mini (think it still loses to ipad though).

Screen also better than ipad mini.

ipad better for the apps and UI smoothness.

You say you prefer 10inch right? Padfone is 10inch.

This 4.3inch phone can transform to 10inch tablet. rclxm9.gif

sorry for failing to read your sentence properly sweat.gif

I have iPad 2 and HTC Flyer. And I always bring HTC Flyer out because Android can do more things. Some website needs Flash. sweat.gif And also like what u say, when I take out iPad2 to surf it looks weird. When I take out HTC Flyer to surf, it looks more natural. sweat.gif

That is why I'm considering an iPad mini. btw there are browsers in iPad mini which support flash as well. And I happen to prefer browsing through safari, typing as well.

Hi,

I had book a Demo unit with some scratches on screen and back panel glued with the anti theft removed. Not sure how bad is the screen but I will be able to get this at RM600/=. You think this is a good buy. I am not too happy with my iPad 3 (will pass to my daughter to use) so heavy and I always prefer a 7" tablet. Currently using Samsung S3.

Good buy ??

jackdon.

Thanks bro.... what is the latest stock firmware and recommended custom firmware that is stable. I still have to wait for another 2 weeks before they will release the Tab 7.7.

latest official stock firmware will be ICS 4.0.4 DXLP8

and my recommend custom will be Paranoid Android 2.55... its the only stable version base on CM10 port... there is another CM10.1 port which is newer but some bugs still exist and some still not fix yet stuff but can be use daily both currently being compile by Daniel_HK at XDA forum.

if base on stock ics... go for skyhigh
