I would like to know how long does an erection usually last?
I'm having a problem maintaining my erection and sometimes I can't get it up before sex. Is it possible that I'm suffering from erectile dysfunction? I admit sometimes I get really nervous and that fellar below refuse to cooperate before sex. Could it be sexual performance anxiety? Meanwhile I suspect it could be due to poor blood circulation but how do I verify that. One of my problem is I always have cold hands and when I get nervous i'll have cold sweat. Please advice. I do not want to rely on drugs like <removed> or <removed>.

I'm only 24 years old and she is the first girl I'm havin sex with. Whenever I lose erection, she gets really frustrated and a lot of times she just want me to come and then go to sleep. I don't want this ED issue to affect our relationship. If I were to see an urologist, how much does it usually cost? Please shed some light on this issue.

See a doctor. Clearly you have some sexual dysfunction issues in your arousal stage that needs some help. You won't find much help here.

DSM Criteria for ED:
QUOTE
A. Persistent or recurrent inability to attain, or to maintain until completion of the sexual activity, an adequate erection.

B. The disturbance causes marked distress or interpersonal difficulty.

C. The erectile dysfunction is not better accounted for by another Axis I disorder (other than a Sexual Dysfunction) and is not due exclusively to the direct physiological effects of a substance (e.g., a drug of abuse, a medication) or a general medical condition.

Any recommended doctors to go to around kl or pj?
How much does it usually cost for consultation?

Maybe. But how much is considered too much?
I'm afraid it is porn-induced ED

Sorry, I'm no guy so I don't have any urologist to recommend, nor do I know how much their consultations cost. laugh.gif

When I mentioned sexual dysfunction, I was referring more to the psychological problem. So probably going to see psychologists will also help, but they tend to be more expensive.

If budget is a concern, government hospitals do provide both urologists and psychologists too.

Bro, I understand how you feel coz I am same age as you and sometimes I have the same problem.

I would suggest that you need to exercise regularly at least twice a week, jogging and most importantly - STRETCH your bottom part will be a great help. I understand people these days sit for a long hours, so am I. So I suspect its poor blood circulation. Because whenever I skip exercise for that week, I will face that problem.

If you do not want to try any drugs. You can try eat oysters a day before that. There is no solid prove from Science, but it works for me. Oysters and crab is one of the highest source in Zinc, and Zinc improve sex drive.

Do give all these a try before you go to consult an urologist or physiologist, basically they will just tell you its your mental, just relax and try to listen more relax music.

Also, do not drink alcohol too often smile.gif

So hope this helps, and look forward to your great news about she enjoy it.

1) Are you physically fit? (note: thin doesnt mean fit)

2) Do you watch porn? If yes, how long do you usually maintain an erection?

3) It could be due to stress or nervousness... I mean, I dont think anyone goes into a nervy situation with a boner.

- your stress could be due to the fact that your GF is always pressuring you so before sex you think :"OMG OMG OMG I have to perform". and you get nervous

slap her and tell her you're the boss smile.gif
joking.

yes psychological factors could play a part. couple that with certain physiological factors and it gets hard, no pun intended.
on a serious note, i really do know a urologist, whom we have not seen for a while but was a good friend.
he has been practicing and specialising for a long time and he works around the klang valley.

Added on November 23, 2012, 1:48 amadditional comment: if u wanna slap her make sure you just slap her bum. don't slap her face.

personally, i like being slapped.

Hi, i read about your condition and i might have some info. I'm running a therapy center in flamingo plaza ampang and we have a few options for male and female urological problems.

We are having a trade show this weekend in Sunway Hotel resort and spa. All the urologist in Malaysia are there. Maybe you can drop by. Look for QRS Asia at booth B14. In case you are not sure, check out our website www.qrsasia.com.my

About consultation, our spokesperson Dr Ismail Tambi (google him) runs a consultation clinic at Damai Service Hospital in Jalan Ipoh. Fee is RM60 per consultation. You can always get an expert's opinion about your condition. Just mention that you heard about him from Norman of QRS. Hope this helps. Ring me if you want more details o123259o3o

1. Maybe yes, maybe no. But definitely not tip-top fit condition where I can just go and run a 42km marathon
2. As long as i'm still stroking it, it will stay hard until it comes. But I'm not exactly sure if it's 100% erected/hard. But once I stop watching and stop touching it, it will not stay erect for long.
3. I think the 3rd one could be one of the reason and I have no idea how to get rid of that nervous feeling.
