butthead, the toupe is significantly lower than arione. so when mounted it on my seatpost, i had increased the height to the same height as where the arione was. but when i sat on it, it felt tall and and i had to put a little more effort to pedal.
is this normal? could it be because the toupe is a flat saddle?

QUOTE(butthead @ Jan 4 2013, 03:02 PM) Pro Bike: Denis Menchov’s Geox-TMC Fuji Altamira» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « A well used Selle Italia Team Edition Flite saddle is perched atop Selle's own Monolink seatpost, which is set with a clamp so that it can accept standard rails. “He didn’t want to change a damn thing,” said Anker of the Russian’s equipment choice in the lead-up to the Giro. “He’s been running this saddle for the last two months. This is the bike he had at home for over a month. He doesn’t want you to change even so much as a pedal on his bike. went for 50km ride this morning. too bad, couldn't pedal faster because i haven't merged the toupe with the romin. still haven't found my horadric cube.
with toupe, i tend to stay at one position, less moving about on the saddle, compared to arione.
no numbnuts! so far so good.
Added on January 5, 2013, 12:01 pmmacwai: i think if u want to consider professional bikefit, better complete ur bike upgrades or whatever u wanna do first. but don't tell about it here, scared if vinann gonna challenge u.
OR at least, get these stuff right, which u gonna stick with for a long time:
- saddle - shoes - pedal

QUOTE(butthead @ Jan 5 2013, 01:27 PM) now i am tempted... why spez no trade in discounts like fizik? because spez is too mainstream. mainstream shops no accept trade ins la. it was only 50k. wait tomorrow i do 100+ ride. i'll let u know. but u were right, the build quality of spez saddle is not as robust as others. i could feel the rail anchor point at the nose sometimes move a bit (when not sitting on it). sometimes only. because the nose is shorter, i got less thigh rub. Added on January 5, 2013, 1:36 pmQUOTE(butthead @ Jan 5 2013, 01:27 PM) Added on January 5, 2013, 1:35 pmvinann... see the consequences of your actions? now everyone is scared of you like a serial rapists who is gonna buttrape them or to avoid being hunted down, i think need to get vinann's approval whenever u wanna buy or upgrade stuff This post has been edited by miaopurr: Jan 5 2013, 01:38 PM

toupe 120k ride review - still no numbnuts - a little pain in bum bum and between the legs. maybe because still not used to flat, hard n minimal padding saddle - moved around on the saddle, but not as much as on the arione - stood up from time to time, but not as frequent as on the arione
