I just saw this thread, hopefully it's not too late tongue.gif
And yeah, it come with Snapdragon S4 1.2GHZ Processor. Which is the lowest tier within Snapdragon S4 Processor Family. But hopefully it smooth to use. I'm planning to get one as my second phone as currently i'm using Galaxy Ace. Planning to change phone, as i'm also in tight budget, was thinking would it be the best bang for $$. shocking.gif

Hopefully CSL will release S4 Pro Quad core phone hmm.gif

yeah it is the lowest tier in s4 chips but still it is pretty smooth and the same chip is also used in HTC Desire X...
you could check the desire x and you could assume it has the same performance if not better because the one in Desire X is clocked at 1GHz and run on heavily-skinned Sense UI

After looking at various phones, I think this is the right one for me especially the price is very attractive. Before I make the purchase, may I know your comment on the following few things:
1. weight of the phone
2. the back cover surface, is smooth glossy plastic or anti slip rubber ? I don't like the red so I plan to spray it with black
3. where to find cheaper compatible battery ? RM80 from CSL for 1 battery is too expensive for me
*
1. Weight of the phone is abt the same as Ninetology Stealh.
2. Back cover surface is Red Matte Finish. I honestly don't like the colour too. But the problem solve if u buying a pouch for it rather than u spray the back cover. hmm.gif
3. The battery is RM50 value and u can get it from the official CSL webstore

If you still doubt why don't you go to the CSL Store to tested out. Then you will satisfy with whatever your decision later. Bear in mind, every phone has its own issue. My sis is using S2. Constant hang is common for S2, but ppl still buy it because it is Samsung. I previously using HTC Sensation XE. HTC is having issue of lagginess because of the heavy Sense UI they come with. Both phones are from well known established company, very popular, higher spec than Mi501 with dual core also. There are no such as perfect phone. Feel it yourself, think wisely, and you will never regret later on. Cheers! thumbup.gif

I bought my phone from him. He got a very high positive feedback. And don't worry, Lelong also have their protection policies to avoid buyers from getting cheat. Otherwise you can buy it from local shop in Sarawak. It's your choice. icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(ninask @ Nov 27 2012, 10:03 AM)
1. It's decent, compare to Ninetology Stealth. Stealth its somehow lighter than Mercury. Mercury fits right in my hand and the weight also. Plus I might think twice to throw the phone dekat dinding kalau marah LOL but as for Stealth, it might just slip off your hand. (sorry for the comparison but both phones are on the same level)

2. It's smooth glossy plastic.

3. Brah, it's only rm50 - http://store.s-csl.my/collections/accessor...roducts/battery as for oem or compatible batt, haven't found one yet.

I already made my mind for few weeks to buy Ninetology Stealth, but after reading Cranky guy and JJKTP's input in 1 hour , I chose to buy Mercury  thumbup.gif I even went to shops just to check out both phones, physically. ZTE won the look and feel, but CSL is the champion when it comes to spec. Btw, I bought it online thru the link that Cranky guy provided. Thanks guys!

Now I feel like a complete noob cry.gif . Although I still think I want to wait for CSL's quad core model. According to them, it will be around 899 to 1299 ringgit only.
