there were alot of phone reported sudden death at XDA forum,
the death just happens to any phone, suspected to be flash corrupted.
i read several pages, a lot of incident happens when the users let their phones charged overnight and next thing they found their phone wont turn on.

this death also happens to both stock rom, custom rom, stock or 3rd party kernel, so it is not rom/kernel related issue, but is hardware related issue.

some in XDA saying their phones were "Made by Samsung" -- seems to be first batch..

and my phone is the first batch too, so dangerous..

I did start to analyse the data and tried to come up with some common factors. However the more data collected the more random it all seems.

There is nothing in common with country of purchase, ROM (ICS AND JB, stock and custom) although 98% of people were on JB. I'm also pretty sure this all started after JB release, but it could be coincidence.
I don't have enough info to figure out if purchase date matters, most are bought 'around' the release date but some aren't.

My best guess at the moment is either a faulty batch of boards or something to do with the battery/charger.
I'm keeping a close eye on this thread and gathering info.

It could be about time to go to Samsung with it and see what they have to say.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...1&postcount=161

i also noticed that this sudden death happened since Jelly Bean rom released. so maybe JB really screwed the phone. hopefully forumer here can help gather some data.
check what is the rom/kernel your phone running now, what is the charger you were using during the problem happened.

now,
i reset my binary counter to 0,
no using samsung charger, i use desktop battery charger instead (i have extra battery kit, so changing battery when 1 run low)

i read from the xda thread, some saying could be the LPM (low power mode) in Jelly bean rom,
like when your phone running very low in battery and it entered LPM, if you charge that time with your phone on, the i/o might write at some sector that it shouldnt

some saying that jelly bean has a bug and cant detect the charging source correctly, that's why there were a lot of user complaining their phone has slow charging. the similiar bug seems to deliver extra voltage that break the motherboard.

but no firm root cause at the moment, all were still guessing around.

Any tower defense game recommended??

Something like Plants vs Zombie and Leave Devil Alone. Leave devil alone is very addictive and challenging!

I like to play this kind of games, any game recommend?
