i guess u need to install the phone driver before you proceed with flashing

Try reinstall phone USB drivers n make sure when you connect phone kies is not running n all anti virus is shutdown

yeah, this really hard to tell. You check at XDA, there are also a lot of forumer encountered problem while some saying they are running perfectly fine. the day i flashed the DLJ5 and sufferring the problem, i check both wanam and omega thread at XDA, the last few pages were all about people complaining the problem.

easy, find another computer to flash a CWM, then you can use CWM to flash almost anything -- root or kernel or rom

I had that before, not sure what's the cause of it, but if you rooted your phone, reboot it into recovery mode, then head to *advanced* and select *Wipe Battery Stats* and then boot up your phone again, it should fix the problem.

After updated to JB.
Its really boosted the speed of UI. This is what i really appreciated/like and recommended.
But problem comes in after few hours using.

1) Received an error when opening SMS. (fixed by factory reset, and installed Go SMS pro)
2) Battery drained fast. - YES so true! JB has the problem. but.. i noticed that battery drained slow at around 60-40%
3) Slow charging? - I only noticed that the charging are slow when i'm not using the samsung s3 packaged charger.  I feel slow when i charge using PC-USB, i feel slow when i am using my friend charger (dunno where he bought from). I feel reasonable speed when i use my own charger. battery do charged 100%
but overall. still worth to upgrade..

there were alot of phone reported sudden death at XDA forum,
the death just happens to any phone, suspected to be flash corrupted.
i read several pages, a lot of incident happens when the users let their phones charged overnight and next thing they found their phone wont turn on.

this death also happens to both stock rom, custom rom, stock or 3rd party kernel, so it is not rom/kernel related issue, but is hardware related issue.
some in XDA saying their phones were "Made by Samsung" -- seems to be first batch..
and my phone is the first batch too, so dangerous..
