ahh i just read from rolex website. It have a regatta chronograph to offer a programmable countdown feauturing a mechanical memory. That should be useful for the Yacht player.
oh i was referring to Yachmaster 2. coz the first one is almost the same with Submariner. Is it? nice. I din know coz this is my first time researching on Seiko. lol. im wearing a maurice now. n i can't bring this to sail. obviously The Velatura looks okay Which do you recommend? It's my first Seiko im gonna be buying. This post has been edited by ridox_orimabu: Feb 19 2013, 05:21 PM |

casio which one?
All i see is digital ones. opps. this thread is seiko. lol. let's back on track. there's below 2k velatura. But when a Seiko reaches 3k mark, then people will ask u why not Tissot Touch? This post has been edited by ridox_orimabu: Feb 19 2013, 05:42 PM |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Feb 19 2013, 05:11 PM) Learned something new today. Thanks.I thought Velatura line's classified as watches beaten with an ugly stick. QUOTE(ridox_orimabu @ Feb 19 2013, 05:37 PM) casio which one? Err... how about http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=57948319 vs a one of many has-been brand names of Swatch group castrated to face eternal damnation of churning out meaningless entry level watches All i see is digital ones. opps. this thread is seiko. lol. let's back on track. there's below 2k velatura. So yeah kinda disappointed Haha... If a Patek looks as "seasoned" like that... I'm quite sure that the dial feets won't be the only thing that's broken. Probably the name is not that marketable? lol. i dunno, maybe its just me. But i see no prob with the design. Esp the divers line. and the sailing line looks awful. like seriously? but anyway, the tech is quite cool. that's the only thing people would reason with you when they come about the Velatura's line.
But seriously. i think. it's the name. lol. Sei - Ko. can u see the relation? Sei (death), KO - K.O also death/defeat. hahahaha... okay jk |

I reckon that if you're not looking at any specific functions except looking the part and water resistance.. Then i suggest longines legend diver. Google it upBut seriously. i think. it's the name. lol. Sei - Ko. can u see the relation? Sei (death), KO - K.O also death/defeat. hahahaha... okay jk Or just suck it up and get a Rolex.. whoa hold ur horses bro.
did u happen to buy the expensive seiko the 1.2mil? lol. Just kid man cheers. i'll look into it n thanks for your humble reply. n i looked upon the watch u recommend. Legend Diver. $2.3k. Are you even serious when you mention that model? Rolex is no doubt one of the best out there but when u think about the prices, u'd rather have it for later when ur abit older. Im still young. I need something calculative and chronograph in style. This Longines is wayyy tooo simple. Longines Hydro Conquest. Have you seen that watch? now that is gorgeous! at $1K price, it's quite a good deal . Any other recommendation? This post has been edited by ridox_orimabu: Feb 20 2013, 12:06 AM |

QUOTE(ridox_orimabu @ Feb 19 2013, 11:45 PM) whoa hold ur horses bro. Well you didn't specify a budget did u happen to buy the expensive seiko the 1.2mil? lol. Rolex is no doubt one of the best out there but when u think about the prices, u'd rather have it for later when ur abit older. Im still young. I need something calculative and chronograph in style. This Longines is wayyy tooo simple. Let's see... - Chronograph in style, dive watch, calculative.. Hmmm.. well its got a dive bezel.. does that count? Then the Seiko SSC Solar Divers. Wait... bad fengshui. - Gazillion chronographs function, young, gazillion functions, no bad fengshui.... G-Shocks.. there's digital, anadigital, analogue only, range from VERY budget friendly to mildly expensive. But if they're good enough for the Navy SEALs.... then they're good enough for you. - Or lastly if main consideration is budget and although its non-chrono in style, non calculative, it certainly is reasonably robust.... and definitely has that "at the sea" theme to it... Perhaps you could consider my latest acquisition which coincidentally I've posted a short review here recently http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=58340374 |

Im quite sad with your reply.
All i see is a load of..nvm. But anyway, it seems the Longines is quite good. altho it does look like the submariner from Rolex. As i already have a Tudor submariner with rolex casing, the watch doesn't seem to be a good.. buy either. ok. im gonna suck on it. Im gonna buy the Yacht Master 2. Wait till your sponge bob watch turns green then i'll post the picture. Gshock , well.. i got a bad history with one. so a no go. Seiko Solar is pretty great esp the Blue theme. that is so cool. But then again, u admitted its bad fengshui, so no. When i see all the watches that people recommends me on divers and sailing, they say Omega Seamaster is good, probably coz they like the idea of Omega being the first to go to the moon. wait. so does moon have a water ? im not sure either. Then comes Corum. The admiral Cup 46. All black finish with striking red or yellow hand. Big watch compare to Seiko Monster and Godzilla. Wow, i look at my wrist. f***. cannot go. And then there's Ullyse Nardin, the pretty one. But i'll probably sell my kidney to get one. or even my backbone. lol. Yacht Master 2. no matter how u look at it. it is gorgeous. right colour, right price, and its fockin Rolex. The few watches brand from Swatch to have good resale value. Tissot Touch. Have u seen the strap? it looks like Mcd's watch. yup. McDonald free watch. So many divers and Sail watch yet, i can't make up my mind. Y is that? Coz the moment i saw your review on Spongebob, i feel like i want to get the sister's watch, do you have extra? i pay u any price |

Due to fengshui reasons.. I guess Seiko's probably out of the question.
If you could kindly get the ball rolling on the other watch thread then the others can pitch in. Certainly I promise to be serious and temporarily stop drinking. ps: Besides the heavily advertised moon, Omega's also the first to market a watch for diving and the Seamaster line have strong history with the Royal Navy Wait.. you got a Tudor Sub? Snowflake? Just wear that la... pop on a rubber strap or a nato and you're good to go. This post has been edited by sniper on the roof: Feb 20 2013, 12:59 AM |

by snowflakes u mean its a squared hand right? Mine is the Mercedes. Probably the ref is 79190. So im not so sure about the Snowflakes thingy. My dad got it in the year 1991 at Switzerland. He pass it to my during my study in year 2002. I could wear this. But i treasure it more than my coupe BMW. So i don't want to risk loosing it while sailing later on. Hence why i go as low as this Seiko watch just to look for divers n sail alternative watch.
