Yeah, normally its a few days later as they need to generate the eStatement. However, its still come to you much faster than the paper statement right? Be patient smile.gif

ADD ON:
My CIMB Savings Acc statement date on 30th but can only get the eStatement on the 7th following month. shocking.gif

Oops, typo error there. Due date is on 26/10. Perhaps I'll wait a week more and if still nothing then will give them a call.

The condition for Redemption of the Complimentary Ride Home is requires 3 valid sales slips for purchases made for in foreign currency.

Cardmembers' destinations are limited to Klang Valley and up to Zone 8 of Airport Limo's Jurisdiction only.

Do i need to show my air ticket or boarding pass as well?

ok, now i got it as why citibank give separate credit limit on installment.. it is to increase the credit limit without user consent.. another tactic by citibank, which recently i think always sneakily try to trick user.. no auto waived annual fee, tiered and complicated cash rebate calculation and hard to win t&c lucky draw..
*
Bro I reread the letter Citi sent to me again, the increase in credit limit granted to me is temporary for about 3 months (expiring soon) and the one and only reason why Citi increased my credit limit was to entice me in signing up for their loan products. Click here to my article Avoid The Shit Hole of Debt by Getting Free Financial Tuition From Me where I posted the evidence of Citibank increasing my Credit Limit without my consent (even if it is for 3 months - it is still an increase without me requesting for it). I also posted a letter Citi sent to my wife offering increase in Credit Limit; and to accept the offer, all she has to do is sms in.

another trick by Citibank.. and their CS is the most caring to me because always call me to offer their Credit Shield and Cash Advance..

but i still keep my Citibank Gold CC as backup because of flat rate offer rm10 at TGV and i got no Annual Fee on this card.. i dont know why but they never charge me Annual Fee, while i see other user complain need to call every year to waive Annual Fee..

Wah Citibank really good to you, waive your annual fees yearly automatically wihout you needing to call them smile.gif

Conclusion, Citibank most cunning and yet at the same time the most generous and caring credit card issuer.

Called to try get the annual membership fees waiver but said no such "promotion" right now for Clear card and can't get it waived, is that true? Anyone facing the same problem?

Also tried ask to cancel the card, call center said get the "senior officer" to call. The "senior officer" called and sounds like really doesn't care about losing a customer, didn't ask why I want to cancel, just tell me once you settle your outstanding balance then you can cancel the card, surprisingly their customer service has become like this.

Well, when we sign up for Citibank credit card(s), we are well aware that there is no auto annual fee mechanism and Citibank is not obliged to waive the card annual fee.

And yes, one should have zero outstanding balance when one wants to terminate his/her card. So the Citibank officer is correct to inform you on this.

And if one has installment plans with any credit card, if the bank is smart, don't waive the annual fee so that they make more money from us laugh.gif

Haha, normally I would settle all the outstanding and used up all the points first before call up to "beg" for the waiver. This would show them that we are indeed serious to cancel if no waiver/offset granted as there is nothing hold us back.

Yeah, agree about instalment scenario. Its giving the chance to let the bank reluctant to waive ur annual fee, whereas if you do early settlement, some t&c would allow them to impose a penalty on you, both way, bank wins.

I didn't say the officer is wrong to inform me about the zero outstanding balance, even kids know that you must settle all the outstanding balance if you want to cancel the card. Few years back I cancelled one of my Citibank credit card, the officer will ask me the reason why I want to cancel and tried very hard for not losing a customer/card account.

Everyone also knows "Citibank is not obliged to waive the card annual fee" BUT since someone mentioned never been charged annual fees / can get the waiver by calling up, so want to know whether anybody get the waiver recently for Clear card. Bank should have standard policy and the criteria for the waiver, I believe it shouldn't based on whether you have installment plans or not, even I have the installment plans, I still can cancel the plans, do a balance transfer and you lose a customer.

Bro, was the senior officer you mentioned is the same department from the fist CS you requested bout the waiver? I mean, did the first CS just past the call to that senior on the same call?

You see, normally when you call up the CS and requested for waiver, they are always the bad guy and will not care much. They will talk like take it or leave it. After few days only you will get a call from CARD CANCELLATION DEPT, who will act as good guy that will offer the waiver/offset or extra points or whatsoever.

In your case, CS will need to ensure you settle your balance only they can pass your cancellation request to the cancellation dept, then only the waiver offer will come. You may have a different thought but at least thats what I experience.
