It's an insurance to pay your CC debt in case you cannot pay due to death/TPD

Made a call to Citibank for card cancellation & immediately my cr card is off from Citibank Online.

Very efficient!

But normally if CC debtor gone, who got to pay the debts ?

i think the banks can recover from the assets of the deceased. there should be an administrator to manage the assets of the deceased

yep, Citibank online is quite efficient. CIMB you have to add your own credit card in the system.

bro how much they charge you on this insurance?

The premium is RM0.69 per RM100 of balance in your statement.

To avoid being charged, make sure you settle all the payments before the statement is generated/issued.

This is the lower-end Platinum credit card. So it's just RM40k/pa.
