1. Just the indicator wont show up on SiD, not sure whether ECS funtioning or not.
2. Both low speed and high speed, when hard breaking the sound gone, but when smoothly breaking u can feel it jerking.
3. Not sure but when the speed reach 70 or above the sound came.
4. Noted i will go to the nearest centre for remap.

I'm quite sure that is the sound of the CVT or the turbo. That's normal.

About the brakes, does your brake pedal pulsate? If not I think it is merely the new pads rubbing the new disc, i.e new parts. They will go away the more you drive. Preferably city drive as you use the brakes more.

Wow that preve hb, i think the rim is much nicer than ours, and i've got the feeling that they'll have a nicer rear lamp in comparison to preve sedan.

A few months ago i came asking about the solution for my uncle's Executive CVT.

Problem : hard to start when it's hot like on the afternoon
Solution : the start key mechanism was faulty. Had to senget the key a bit then can start. Proton SC replaced it as part of warranty and niw all good :-).

Anyway, he would like me to ask about what can he do to improve FC?

I told him a drop in air filter and better full exhaust piping will help, was I wrong? 

Obviously he doesn't want the loud exhaust. But, a properly tuned length extractor and piping will be good for FC as well as perfomance right?

before I done my full piping, I am getting average around 10-11km/L

after full set exhaust makeover, 12-13km/L. Extra 2km/L, means every time I pump in RM30, I can travel 30km more. Every full tank (RM50) I can travel 52km more.

Does anyone have problem with the GPS on your Bosch head unit? Mine does and I am getting furious about it.

My GPS shows different location than it should. I was driving around SKVE but my GPS showed Kepong area. The red arrow movement is okay, it moves as my car moves, but compass is not accurate. Radio works fine.

Went to SC today, they confirmed that the GPS part of HU is having problem. GPS antenna and connection are fine, as they tested with another Bosch HU and that unit worked fine. They suggested me to send my HU to Penang. How long will it take to fix? They don't know. So I decided NOT to send my HU to Penang since I can't live with my Preve having a big empty hole on its dashboard.

My questions:
1. What will you do if you were in my situation?
2. Is installing different GPS (Papago, Garmin, etc) on our Bosch HU doable at the moment? If it is doable, can it solve the GPS problem?
3. The mechanic scratched my plastic dashboard when they tried to open the HU. Any way to repair my scratched dashboard?

My GPS stops working, and also my gear knob plastic casing tercabut. Dashboard tercalar. Everything happened at the same time. What a great start into 2013
