I have checked the rates on their website and all their rates are above that.
Any help ?  blush.gif

Do you refer to tariff rates? I don't believe if their prices are above 250 for 18 March. Try calling them to know exact rates because tariff rates = publish rates = super peak rates. Here I attached normal rates for those hotel I mention.

Anyone stay in Bala's Chalet before ?
*
Ouch....I forgot about school holiday. Yeah no wonder they charged super peak.

I found one Hotel to be uber resonable , it's Hotel Titiwangsa.
They charge 113 pernight only , from the picture that others taken , it seems like a good budget hotel with clean room and clean toilet.

I'm still thinking whether to stay in Hotel Titiwangsa or some superior ones.  wub.gif
*
I dunno where Hotel Titiwangsa located but you can try asking forumers in CH thread http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...3578&hl=cameron. From my experience, Bala Chalet quite nice because its like boutique hotel with good rate. I never stayed there btw.

I am going to Langkawi, with a group 8.
Currently I am thinking to get two rooms at malibest that prices RM120 - RM140 each.
Is there any bungalows to be rent there? Suggestions is highly appreciated smile.gif
*
Hard to see any bungalow for rent and the location at the beach. I know only 1 contact for bungalow but the location is at town and Rm 600/night.

I'm going to Langkawi this coming July, together with eight of friends and we're looking for a place to stay, a place that clean + cheap + happening. Thinking of renting a bungalow if there is? For resorts I'm thinking of malibest, what do you guys think? Suggestions are really welcome.
*
Renting a bungalow is not a good option in Langkawi because Bungalow always in secluded area + expensive. If you want happening + beach, Malibest is good option or try Beer Beach Resort/AB Motel.

actually .. that budget only include hotel and food .. (3days and 2 night )
and im gonna check in only 1 room ..
do u guys think enough with that budget ?
and any recommandation for hotel/resort ?
not prefer chalet smile.gif

prefer near beach
not to far from jetty
easy to find food
swiiming pool.hehe
*
Based on your criteria, its hard to find "not chalet" type . "swimming pool" and "easy to find food" because most of big hotel is in secluded area. You can try :-

- Coral Bay http://www.journeymalaysia.com/islandpangkorcoralbay.htm
- Puteri Bayu http://www.journeymalaysia.com/islandpangkorputeribayu.htm

This is normal hotel and nothing extra ordinary about this hotel. Your budget are good enough for 3d2n. My recommendation is PIBR. But this hotel are not included in your criteria.

haa.but from ur opinion
where is the place to stay in pangkor ? .. ( just 4get bout all criteria given ) . smile.gif

but hope soo can see beach & easy to find some food .. hehe
*
From my opinion, I would stay in PIBR (Pangkor Island beach Resort) because usually I would visit Pangkor for relax and beach. If you choose this hotel, food is out because you ahve to eat at hotel or take taxi Rm10 to Telok Nipah for food.

There are a lot around Bkt Bintang, you can just walk in for that. Usually they do not accept booking for hourly stay.

Hi guys, I wish to know can corporate rate for hotel be used for non-business purpose?
Like I am on vacation n need to book a hotel, and my company has corporate rate to this hotel.

And what kind of proof I need to show them so that they know I'm really working at the company I state?
: biggrin.gif
*
Call them and ask for corporate rate. You only need to bring your company ID when check in. Some hotel can directly booking under corporate rate and some need to submit from your HR.
