The hotel is called the KFC hotel because it is right behind the 24 hr KFC restaurant there. It does look nice from the website and has a great location - 5-10 min distance to Bintang Walk, the heart of Bukit Bintang. But if you can't book online and there isn't room prices stated on the site ! Alternatively, you can try out Radius International Hotel located opposite Imperial Hotel (a few doors down the road) or Replica Inn a few door away.

In Agoda FAQ :
Can I choose what type of bed I want?
On the booking form you can make your Special Request on the Room Details Page, where you complete the guest names and select the nationality. Please click on ""Special Requests (Optional)"" and then simply type in your request. The request will be sent to the hotel directly. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed by agoda.com. If available, your request will be confirmed upon arrival. If you wish to submit more requests, please check the Self Service LINK located in the confirmation email you will receive once your booking is complete. You can also action requests by logging on to 'manage my bookings' via the website.

Hope this helps.

I used http://www.booking.com loved this website because it allows you to book without the commitment of paying (but they do capture your credit card details as a guarantee for no show) and sometimes they even throw in free cancellation if you cancel about a week before. And its always about $1 to $10 cheaper than other sites.

flynow.my - lets you search for the cheapest flight tickets

www.flynow.my

have a look at this very useful website for finding best flight-ticket deals as well as for looking for hotels and variety of travel-related info.
a not-for-profit website full of goodies delivered by travellers (and IT geeks) to travellers.

the website gives access to best deals from all local airlines (including low-cost carriers). and the number of features is growing fast!

When booking with agoda you do not have a guarantee that you get the bed-configuration you want.
My first question is: what is your budget.
Then I could give a proper recommendation.
In general, it is more easy to get the configuration you want when you stay at an international chain-Hotel.
on the website of those chains you can usually book exactly the bed-configuration you want. so no need to worry about twin-beds.
If your budget is limited and you choose a midrange-Hotel, then book via agoda, and call the Hotel 2-3 days before your arrival (don't forget to ask for the name of the person you were talking to !), telling them about your honeymoon.
If they are not completely stupid, ignorant, clueless or all these three things together, they should be able/willing to assign you the bed-configuration you want.
If your budget allows you to stay at an international 4-/5-Star hotel, you should choose that. They may even be willing to arrange and decorate the room nicely for you, if you contact them in advance (but not just one day ahead).
Hilton / Le Meridien at KL Sentral for example, or Intercontinental (not sure if they have finished renovation of the entire ground floor / lobby-area, I stayed there in April when the renovation was in full swing). Sheraton is an option too, as is Traders or Shangri-La.

there is a risk when booking at agoda.com as when you reach the hotel, they could be full and you'll be relocated to another hotel.

Hi guys, I don't know if this is where I should post, but yea we needed accomodation in Cheras for a week near HUKM, preferably walking/driving distance. We used to stay in IYC but it was fully booked.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks. Can anyone suggest any nearby hotel/budget inn/homestay etc?
