Making me jelly want to upgrade modem

when LTE came, for sure i'll grab the E398
but for the time being, my MF680 still serve me good

E398 improvement over MF680 is the stability and the speed

Speed improvement is noticeable

But stability improvement is very noticeable

Depends on personal budget, if limited then just wait until the launching of LTE

Chuah, so far which parts of Penang have you tested with speeds more than 10Mbps? Air Itam area got? Haha

Good! I stay in Farlim whenever I'm back but facing Paya Terubong la.. nearby Permata.. still using the E1762 and never got higher than 5Mbps.. must be the location la LOL

btw, Maxis was down since 5mins ago, now using YES via a rm50 made in Korea dongle on a rm25/mth package (1GB)

i have to say i am surprise and shock for sure that it even work like a charm,, guess other phone will be working as well,..

i have to say V2 + Nokia x3-02 = also fibre like connection,.


when all usb modem failed, just plug in your phone into V2

Nokia N79? Do you have tutorial how to tether phone with laptop or router?

a fon cannot fight with a modem la dude, see my PING, just imagine the smoothness of the konektion

while waiting for e398 come ,,....how to check QoS with e398? can use MDMA?

with that kind of ping comes with super low speed, sorry i am not really into that ping with lower speed for sure,.

currently my x3-02 connection with V2 is hands down beat my E372 or ZTE MF680 in loading websites,..

dont forget nokia phone have a good chipset in receiving signal,. yes heat is higher but i have fans for it,.

radiation wise, we all die one day ( so i practically dont really care ),..

it is up to you to believe

u haven't try it , so it is not fair to direct comments on phone is slower than modem,..

If you live in Muntri area, any modem or fon surely produce good results.

Likewise what ever equipment you bring to Blackie's place, your result will suck kawkaw.

Its location dependent man.
