QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Dec 2 2012, 04:12 PM) u can use QXDM/QPST software to check QoS yes can check using QXDMhere's mine ![]() so,it means that my tower support max 8mbps DL/UL? I should be very grateful that I can achieve 1MB/s download speed |

QUOTE(digilife @ Dec 2 2012, 08:32 PM) Could its be the simcard capability , have it change to a Unlimited Speed simcard. Its unlimited (I hope so) What package is yours? but of course not the 'legendary' legacy plan What is QoS actually? It shows the capability of sim card or the base station? I'm confuse here |

QUOTE(digilife @ Dec 2 2012, 09:10 PM) QoS on MDMA shows your simcard, modem and tower capability. thanks!' When i use my Legacy sim on a E1762 i get 8640/8640 , on a E372 its 16000/8640 in my sucky location. If i bring this setup to Fruitie's place , i should get 8640/8640 on E1762 and 42000/8640 on E372 because her place tower is 42000/8640 enabled. However some simcards no matter what modem, which tower only shows 2048/2048 , happened to my Multi sim before but have since be upgraded by Maxis FOC I think the tower capability is limited to 8640/8640 as i'm only at HSDPA rural area will test it out when i'm back at hspa area tomorrow hope can get 42000 QoS |

QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Dec 2 2012, 09:29 PM) u might stand high chances for higher speed if the tower is less congested like my area yeah i'm super jealous with your speed always can get over 15mbps while mine only around 5mbps but considering streamyx here only support 1mbps, i think my speed is good enough and what makes me much more grateful is when i think that 5 years ago i paid RM68 for maxis bb 512kbps! |

hey guys, I have questions here
here is my QoS ![]() I'm at DC-HSPA+ area and connected to it (I know bc of purple LED and I've confirmed it in QXDM) my question is: why does my QoS only shows 8640/8640? Is it that my sim only can support 8640? or its the base station that has limited speed? and how can I know that my sim can support 42000 QoS? here's one more thing why the percentage not 100%?(its still climbing though, but very slow) ![]() anyone kindly enough to clarify this |

QUOTE(ddr3 @ Dec 3 2012, 05:06 PM) why care about the QOS so much? if you can download at 1MB/sec, no need chage the sim, or buy another HUawei modem E372 to test the QOS I know its no point if can even get 30mbps++ bc of that quota, but I just want to maximize the speedlike someone's here already said-'to save time' QUOTE(digilife @ Dec 3 2012, 05:06 PM) I don't want to check it! |
