yeah me too....but chrome alwys crack..hog memory..IE10 like perfect browser...did i dreming, IE is the best browser and with Good Maxis speed

IE in speedtest have the lowest Ping for me compare to all other browser,.

didnt hog so much of Ram like chrome and didnt lag that much like Firefox too

is there any software like MDMA tht can set tower id to connect? if avilble..it will help me lot

how can we know we are connected to base station or tower?
they have different ID?

and is there any way to make sure we're always connected to dc-hspa+, not hsdpa?

im in tronoh now, kinda like cowboy town, didnt see any tower so yeah maybe dl is always awesome but uploading assignments... disastrous

base station in my area download speed awesome, but upload snail like chicken,

while base tower is awesome upload but download speed so so only

so you have upgraded to windows 8 , yup , QXDM works w/o problem actually

Tower =

base station normally on top on 3~4 storey shop lot type,..

and tower is normally along the highway / on top mountain

eacn and everyone of them have a different ID = CELL ID

to see the ID, u can use MDMA V11

I'm having unstable connection for the past few days. Normally can achieve speed around 7-8Mbps easily. However this few days only managed to get around 2-3Mbps. Today is worse. More or less 1Mbps...

Is anyone having this issue? My area is at Taman Sri Sentosa, off Old Klang Road...

well if i am not wrong, u can call maxis to lock you down to certain tower/base station,.

don't want to call maxis...how about when want to hometown...need broadband too....and always go to Kuantan , super speed for Maxis........when school holiday....

if u dont see any tower at all , bet it is base station u are connected to,.

normally city very seldom have tower, city area is more base station

still high speed away for sure, max out my QoS
fall in love with this base station







can confirm that no different at all with lan cable or wireless connection

Mine can barely reach 10 mbps..

but when downloading on IDM can get around 16 mbps.. lol
