*
yep

done to recent w/s change

but u still have to fork out the cash first la

- cracked screen,
- to shop, change screen
- ask to kawtim resit to the max of insured value, btw if u insured ur screen rm500 and the new windscreen costs urm400
- do claim after everything settled down.
- insurance company will send to the insured person in the cover note according to the value of the resit

My car vibrates soooooo badly. Even when idle. sad.gif
Vibrates like no more tomorrow when I turn on the aircond. Sigh.
Maybe something to do with the engine? Any idea?
Mine in manual btw.

nice...manual or auto?

and hows the power and low-mid end torque compared to stock engine?

EDIT: inline 3 or inline 4?
*
due to lower CC and lower compression ratio.. abit sluggish on low end... once boost kicks in 2.5++ rpms.. voila...

inline 4.. auto FTW!!!... L9 dun have manual IIRC

sent it for engine wash.. turns out to be not really a good thing. Engine bay isn't as clean as I expected. But some of the places are cleaner than before.. but no showroom kind of clean here.

the desease is getting worse each day.

the thing that wonders me is, the oil drips on the floor isn't thick. It is somewhat mixed with water. Any explaination on how this happens?

and no, nothing to do with rain or wet road. It was a very dry day.
could anyone list down the most probable cause of engine oil leak?
1.
2.

just wanna get my funds ready if worse come to worse.
*
1. engine oil sump gasket.
2. timing belt oil seal 2x
3. driveshaft oil seal 2x
4. flywheel oil seal
5.

Gx = manual
Ex = auto (this i m not sure)
EZ = auto full spec
*
GX manual
EX manual with extra accessories
EZ auto

btw kelisa/kenari only brings GX and EZ model. EX is for kancil. manual with extra acessories.

with extension + i letter after the GX/EZ which stand for "fuel injection"

guys, i'm goinng to replace my timing belt soon.. is it necessary to change the alternator/aircond/power-steering belts also?
*
if u change the belt recently so no need to replace. but i'd recommend to change alternator belt.
if power steering belt snapped- u just having heavy steering
if aircond belt snapped - no aircond for awhile only.

but u have the alternator belt snapped, be prepared with tow truck number in ur phonebook.
oh ya. if ur car already 5years+ just change waterpump + thermostat + radiator hoses altogether.

kelisa owner here...wave.gif

I'm having problem with the car alarm. Barely 1 and half years getting kelisa Ezi, the alarm went kaput. Now, i have to use key to open it.
Wondering if anyone knows how much car alarm will cost? I went to a workshop and ask, they charged me RM180 to change the whole alarm. Expensive ah?

Oh, and anyone knows the rear wiper is what size? Mine is kelisa Ezi 2007 (it's the last batch before viva came out)...can get from Giant/carrefour?

Thanks guys!
*
the alarm remote or the alarm module. if the module still ok.. just change the remote at p2sc for rm45 include remote programming.

got that fixed like 2 months ago. Can't be the same problem is happening again? huh.gif
This time, just the gearbox oil leaks. No engine oil leaks. The source of the leak somewhere at the flywheel area I think. Not too sure cause can't really peek underneath the car properly, just a glimpse of red oil wetting the "between engine & gearbox" area.
how do I check if the speed sensor is faulty? How does it look like and where it is located? A picture will help.

car still sitting at home.. no time to send it to shop. besides, tomorrow is holiday. haihs.. sad.gif
*
no speed sensor but only speedo cable. if u have working speedo cable. pull the cable. make a run.. sure the CEL will light up
