helo sifu2 can i know the what the "thingy" that cause unsharpness to the upper spine....u know wat i mean.... lightrooom touchup...a bit 0.6s f/8 iso100 200mm seashell-1 by alpha infinite, on Flickr

You have to stop down a little to get it sharp or back up a bit.

The lens focal length is also one of the factor, if you're using telephoto and shooting closeup, the DOF will be more shallow.
