Hey I would like to ask is this phone a good buy in the RM1k range when you account for usability wise like battery life, web browsing, gaming, camera and listening to music?

And are there any things that is lacking in this phone that might heavily affect my decision on getting this phone? I have seen reviews stating that the lack of notification LED is quite a problem and a hassle >.<

my lg 4x hd got wifi issue...d wifi signal alway show connect to u internet but internet can't use at all....and d wifi signal can't turn off alway on...any1 havin tis issue?

restart also same...my pc and other phone can surt net use wifi juz lg 4x can't..how to hard reset?

Factory reset from recovery different from the setting?

1- i already do hard reset using the DOWN+POWER button option (more then 5 times)
2- also done the factory recovery using lg mobile tool (not the lg pc suite)

both end up same thing.
wifi seems to have problem since the update of firmware

was trying to flash the rom using lg flash tool
but stuck at some step, decide not to continue to avoid brick my phone (just 1 week old)

not sure why wifi suddenly problem after upgrade?

seen O4X 4.1.2 jelly bean still bug on battery drain issue, kernel problem think should be cause by tegra3.

So, still better use custom rom? Sound like CM rom is the best choice since it's close to original? How about just root the original rom and remove all built in bloat ware? Will it help o improve battery?

OK, so sounds like the best system for O4X is flash the original LG kernel will do (either with stock or custom rom like cm), right?
So far I only has experience of doing rooting in my xperia phone (just to remove built in Sony built I'm apps to free up memory), totally noop on kernel flashing nor custom rom changing.
Can some kind soul here mind to give a brief step by step explaination of how to flash kernel, custom rom etc? Or maybe share some link of how to do so? I've read some xda posting, but most of it are too 'advanced' for newbie like me to fully understand and too much info to search through.

I would like to know how troublesome of changing stock kernel and rom before I make my final decision of getting this phone or not.

saw alot custom kernel at xda, iodak kernel are the best choice. u using this?
but saw same user still face the baseband xmm battery drain issue.

Well, base on xda, the best custom kernel that suit the stock ROM should be from iodak v06. Maybe brother waja can further comment since he's using it now.

BTW, can any O4X user comment on how's this camera quality? I search through the web and seems like this phone is suffering the auto focus problem in both photo and video capturing (read from review below :
