Wonder is there any method to copy the app data to new phone, e.g. game play like candy crush, which I already play till level 200+ and I don't want to play this game from level 1 again in my new phone.

Titanium Backup will do

Candy crush is just an example (some more i dont play candy crush in FB) what I mean is overall game play or other apps saved data.
So, titanium backup is one choice, but I didn't use it, I use super manager, not sure is it function same as titanium?
*
Im not sure about that....i personally avoid titanium as it always crash when trying to restore back all data...there is another way, just do a nandroid backup, once you finished installing mew rom, just do a Data restore from nandroid...

This usually works if come from same based rom...like if u from stock based to stock based rom or cm based to cm based...

oh yea.. hehe you are right.
werewolf rom smooth, but battery is not good. and very very heaty after 15mins surfing.  doh.gif
*
Until now, ive tested like 6 types of rom...All gives the same result when it comes to heat...Every kernel..

Except now im using Iodak v06, ive undervolt most of the frequency above the LP core...Heat is reduced...

But werewolf rom looks nice wei with that blueish UI.. nod.gif

Bro, mind to tell me which version (latest now is V1.3, just updated few days ago) you are using? I thought this tool only suitable to be used for version EUR-xxx? Mine just updated to JB and the version is P88020a-ESA-xxx.

BTW, as mentioned, I've updated my phone to JB yesterday. I still not plugging my sim card and using the phone as per my ICS system few days ago. However, I observe one big different is the battery drain is very fast in JB. Yesterday after updated the os, my phone battery still 70%+, but this morning already drop to 35% only. As compare to ICS, with the same condition it only drop <5% only. Is it normal?
*
Thats a common issue with JB update...Battery drain is such a mindfcuk...Thats why we need that so custom rom or custom kernels...

Just use the latest version of that tool...All is the same...

So, sounds like the battery drain is common for JB on our phone, never thought the upgrade is becoming more worse on battery.
If maintain the stock JB rom, with just iodak kernel will improve it?

BTW, I see that for the one click tool mentioned jsut now, the latest version is V1.3, which it stated the feature as below :

•Added Requirement Window (Phone Has To Be On Android 4.1.2 Or Above)

•Changed Rooting Method [As The "adb reboot recovey" Command Is Only Possible With An Insecure (/Unsecure) Boot Image]

•Updated TWRP (Now Version 2.6.0.0)

•Updated Optimus Prime Kernel (Now v 2.53)

May I know is this tool also inclusive the flashing of optimus prime kernel? What if I want to use iodak one?
*
No its not...Flashing of kernel or roms require Recovery mode, which is between TWRP/CWM that you need to bake in your phone after successfully unlock your bootloader...

First get unlocked, then bake in ClockWorkmode recovery, then just flash any kernels

Ok, I'm still digesting about the concept of rooting, bootloader, CWM/TWRP.... let me download this one click tool and try out first then only will further catch up with you guys smile.gif
*
1.) Rooting doesnt require an unlocked bootloader...You can just easily exploit the binary to get root access...
Which is can be done easily and automatically by the program that you mention...

2.) Recovery is just like SafeMode in windows platform...In android system, were getting the common recovery mode from developers which is, lack of access and usage, like Flashing zip files/nandroid backup/restore, fix permission..This is where the CWM(clockworkmode) Recovery/TWRP(TeamWinRecoveryProject) Recovery came in..They build a custom coded recovery mode that consists of much more function...

3.) Well, about bootloader i dont think i need to explain it..Its the first to run when you power up your devices...It package a command line to be executed once our phone is turned on...Same like BOOTMGR(boot manager) in windows 7 system...If your bootloader is locked, it means that it will just stick with a command to execute the stock/factory set"ed system that comes with it, even if you managed to install a custom rom without unlocking the BL, the BL will not identify your newly installed rom as it is locked generally...

Above is the basic understanding about Rooting/Bootloaders/Recovery...Its not an accurate, actual explanation but it will help you get the basic picture...Hope it helps...

Ok, I've downloaded the one click tool, ver 1.2. Here's the menu of the selection :
May I know do I need to install all?

[attachmentid=3579151]

On option 9, kernel and rom selection. It only has iodak v7 available, no v6. How can I add in?

I think I stuck at the very first step, rooting.
I use the one click option 1 for Root function. After few click my phone restart within sec, however I don't see the superuser icon in the app folder, think still not rooted, right?
May I know how to check whether is my phone rooted or not?
*
Hurmm..Seems like the new release toolkit is not user friendly....Download the v1.0.1 as it comes with Iodak v06...
First when you open up the toolkit, you need to install an ADB driver in your pc first...First menu appears an option to install the ADB driver...After that you can proceed with rooting...

Once you click the Root option, turn off your phone, turn it back on by pressing VolumeUp+Power button(keep press) until you enter the Recovery Mode...Once in recovery mode, select an option with Slidload in it (cant remember the fullname of the option but contain "slidload"), then go to your pc, press any key with the toolkit, and it will automatically proceed the root method...

Im talking based on v1.0.1 toolkit...below is the link from XDA...

I've used LG backup app just now, but I guess the backup is only meant on general apps and data only, right?
Is he backup inclusive the whole system? My expectation of full system backup is now my phone still in stock JB with rooting done only, let say I do custom kernel or rom later and encounter problem, can I restore the previous back so that the phone still back to the date where my phone still in stock rom and rooting only?
*
No its not...The LG stock backup app just do a backup on your apps/message/contacts/settings only...
If you want a full backup of whole system, you need CWM...Thats why i recommend you to unlock BL and directly
push in Cwm recovery

Ok, so sounds like there's no way to backup the existing stock system without proceeding the unloack BL first, right?
You mentioned earlier that you use the one click tool for your unlocking BL and etc, right? I'm opening the v1.0.1 now, seeing that there's lot of selection inside of it, any sequence of which to install first (sure rooting is always first thing need to do) ? I believe some are similar function and should only choose one, so can recommend which is must and which is option ?
[attachmentid=3581233]

You already install the ADB driver? Once done, can proceed Unlock Bootloader as you already rooted

Yup, ADB installed.
No want to know which should I follow sequence of the tool from unlook BL till flashing at line n.9? Or should just pick some critical one to flash instead of flashing all?
*
Then you can choose Option.2...Make sure your phone is connected in with USB Debugging Mode...

Some version reported cant be unlocked using this tool...But i found malaysian user in XDA that managed to get unlocked using this tool...Backup all your contacts/apps/msg, as unlocking will clear your data

Too bad, unlocked denied.
Try using both one click version of v1.0.1 and v1.2 also failed
*
Then yours too same like mine laugh.gif Need a manual unlocking procedure through fastboot... nod.gif

Do you know how to use fastboot by command promt in your pc? If not, i am sure that you have and know the location of your ADB drivers right? If yes, connect your phone in Debugging Mode, go to your ADB driver folder in your pc, from the folder simply just hold and press shift key in the folder and right click, choose " Open Command Window Here " and you are in ADB mode...

Once you go through this, tell me and i will proceed...Do you have FB ?? pm me
