Hi all

I just bought lg 4x hd few days ago. Its superb and was using ics originally.

Decided to upgrade to jelybean

Using the lg mobile support tool downloaded from lg support page

Upgrading finished around 20 minutes later, reconfigure and its still okay at this point

Only when i tried reconnect to my wifi at office n home, it wont connect at all.

The phone can see the wifi signal ssid but when click connect, it just sit there doing nothing, try to type wrong password also it doesnt do anything

Anybody had this issue? Other functions work perfectly tho....
I know there are some discussion about it on xda forum, but nobody knows at the moment the final solution....most of them downgrade to ics...especially the europeans...

Please help me, and we could help others...

I hard reset three times, also the same.... Vry sad....thinking of sending back to lg centre....anybody onow where is it. I live in puchong...

Hi there, I've been using Jelly Bean since beginning of May and it's running fine. I don't think there's anything wrong with Jelly Bean update for this phone. Perhaps sending it back to LG service centre is a good idea.

The heat problem is not uncommon for our device...The kernel will automatically scale down the cpu
usage to cope with the heat-up issue, so no worries for that problem...

About your wifi problem, my last option is to repair your phone using LG PC Suite software...
Actually its almost alike like Hard Reset...But i'd prefer more if you do Hard Reset in recovery mode...

Simply just turn off your phone....And turn it back on with these key compilation " VolUP + PowerButton "...
Once in recovery mode, navigate for Up/Down using volume button and Select with Power button...
Choose factory reset...

Hope this helps nod.gif

1- i already do hard reset using the DOWN+POWER button option (more then 5 times)
2- also done the factory recovery using lg mobile tool (not the lg pc suite)

both end up same thing.
wifi seems to have problem since the update of firmware

was trying to flash the rom using lg flash tool
but stuck at some step, decide not to continue to avoid brick my phone (just 1 week old)

not sure why wifi suddenly problem after upgrade?
its okay before the upgrade - couldnt be hardware issue rite...

Why dont you download KDZ files from XDA forum and reflash it manually. See whether after reflash it , got this problem or not. The Guide to Flash KDZ file are in XDA forum..
