QUOTE(felixwhoals @ Mar 7 2006, 11:34 PM) Bio, Chem and Maths? or Chem, Phy and Maths? Many would do Chemistry and Mathematics for science stream.. You have options to choose either physics or biology.. if you interested towards Medicine or Pharmacy, then take Bio.. else if you want to go towards IT or Engineering, take Physics Can take more than 3 subjects or not?

QUOTE(Dr@gon @ Mar 9 2006, 09:12 AM) Can take more than 3 subjects or not? No you can't, if you are referring to core subject. You also will learn English and Pendidikan Islam (for Muslim; I think its rest time for non-muslim) as well. Bear in mind that you will have MUET while you spending 2 semesters in your matriculation. QUOTE(rapapot @ May 9 2011, 12:45 AM) i'm actually in dilemma whether to go for KPM matrix or dip in ICT I do not familiar with ICT field, but I think I Dip in ICT sound more relaxing than studying in matriculation.

QUOTE(rapapot @ May 10 2011, 02:54 PM) what about the job after finish study?? are there any demand in that field or hard to get job? Marticulation = low CGPA, you gonna get lelong course. And again, I do not familiar with ICT field. But matriculation do able to provide you more dynamic range of courses - provided that you have CGPA 3.5 and above.

Just to share with you guys, my teacher's niece (Chinese) didn't get offered any doctor courses eventhough she's so interested in it. She got 4 flat for her KPM's Matriculation. So sad, right? I hear she's doing nursing now at UKM

I hear she's doing nursing now at UKM that's unfortunate. she should check how many of her friends from the same matriculation applied for the same course. normally u can find the answer right there. rather than take nursing, i'd rather take my chances, take a break for a year and reapply again next year. medicine is like several tiers above nursing. it's like she almost married brad pitt, but suddenly settled with the geek next door. but do pray the geek is the next bill gates, and she's golden .

For biomed engineering in UM,preference is given to students who take biology whereas in UTM only physics students are accepted.

It is abnormal if 4 flat students do not get their desired courses....unless she is not 4 flat students.... This post has been edited by Makira: Nov 28 2011, 03:35 PM
