Unfortunately, I dont have my Ichigo 100% set anymore. Sold them off about two weeks ago. I'll see what I can do with my remaining gashas.

QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Apr 17 2006, 03:35 PM) BLASPHEMY! Not even an emo kid in SEED mode? O_oLowe is far to superior and awesome to get slashed into two by an emo kid. You should've at least made RedFrame do a shining finger on Impulse's head. Anyway the Red Frame is deflecting the sword with his Gerbera Straight, though it's not very visible in the picture above. I only had time to come up with one pose, cause I was kinda rushing for work. As for the shining finger thing, well I would except that the hands are not poseable. I could probably do something with the Destiny though, I'll just have to play with camera angles to compensate for the Destiny's smaller scale. |

QUOTE(young_soul @ Apr 18 2006, 07:59 PM) They only appeared in Gundam Seed Astray. Like a sidestory of Gundam Seed. Later there's gonna be another sidestory like Gundam Seed Astray...featuring the modified version of Strike Gundam. Called Stargazer or something. Can't wait for it Gundam Seed Astray is a manga only release, although they did have short OVAs for both the Red Frame and Blue Frame (about 5 mins each OVA). |

Without coloring the Strike Rouge looks way too pinkish. >_<
But yeah, nice model kit. If it weren't for the need to color, I would've gotten one for myself. |

QUOTE(Fodder Soldier @ Apr 19 2006, 07:55 PM) Whee... finally finished assembling the Zeta ver.2.0, now it's time for the new warrior to join ranks with the rest of the team. No panel lining on the V2.0?Zeta ver1.0 and 2.0 compared. Seems true with some model kits. Like the above pic, the Zeta ver.2.0's blue colour makes it look like it's made of lower-Q plastic compared with the more solid-looking default kit blue of the ver.1.0. Makes the ver.2.0 look cheaper(?... herrgh.. Moar of mine: Update of the 1/100 Gundam Flag Units Collection Makes me wish for a bigger cupboard shelf space (or a bigger room, better yet...) QUOTE(Fodder Soldier @ Apr 19 2006, 08:28 PM) Well, not yet, cause I like to follow my regular modelmaking procedure of quick-assembling the kit first, leaving it as-it-is for preliminary study and scrutinization of the model kit in default condition for planning of any upgrade or modification if necessary, then only will the temporal finishing be done (i.e. panel-lining, stickers). The next step would of course involve doing the complete finishing for the kit, like filing off surface irregularities, surfacing and the airbrushing. Sweet. All the best on the follow up then. Fact of matter is a large majority of my plamo are in the temporal finishing stage, except for the few gunpla going through the conversion process at the moment. Gotta get me that important epoxy putty soon... |

QUOTE(YenS @ Apr 25 2006, 07:18 PM) oh starghazzer's post somewhere up there has got some nice pics. I'm not sure about the Strike Freedom (h3's one says version 2 anyways, im wondering why the kits in the pictures at this http://h3.dion.ne.jp looks SOOO different from those in HLJ and Dalong.net for example, IJ: Dalong's IJ and.. h3's IJ o.O notice the difference in color? Dalong's IJ has got a very pale red while h3's is the real vibrant red. and for the jetpack thing, Dalong's is Maroon while h3's is purple. And h3's IJ looks so damn good. and another example, SF: Dalong's SF and.. h3's SF err, wasnt the real SF supposed to be fat? i dont know, maybe its just me, but i really think h3's SF looks so much better. like its been hitting the gyms. oh and i loveeee the gorgeous paintwork. FLAWLESS. omg, i cant even see stroke lines or any imperfections for that matter. silly post huh..i just thought i wanna share wat i noticed between those two. but really, shocking, aye? QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Apr 26 2006, 08:30 AM) That may be, but gorgeous, nonetheless. I love that shield!!! QUOTE(young_soul @ Apr 26 2006, 11:01 AM) Even though its a HG, its still a 1/144. I rather wait for the 1/100. 1/144 kits are too small for me Yeah, after building two 1/100 kits, I feel the same way. |

QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Apr 26 2006, 03:43 PM) Why bother? Their SEED/GSD 1/100 line is made of smooth armor and fail. There's too little details on them (most of the time you'll get a flat surface with the same boring tiny panel line on each edge of the armor). I'd rather get 1/144 HG kits instead. Yeah I agree with you on the quality of the 1/100 kits. Sometimes I find that even the groove lines dont align well once you put the pieces together Speaking of which, the upcoming HGUC Zudah is a sexy model kit I must buy! BUY BUY BUY! BUY 3 AND MAKE A SQUADRON LIEK IN MS IGLOO! Some of the HGUC kits certainly look good, but I'm unfamiliar with the UC timeline so I dont wanna get any of them. I prefer getting kits of Gundams which I'm familiar with, so that at least I can appreciate them a bit more. |

QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Apr 26 2006, 09:18 PM) Looking at various picthurs of 1/100 Freedom/S-F built out of the box over the Internets, and then looking at my MG Freedom, I have no idea why would anyone want a normal 1/100 when a superior MG's already around. Of course there's no denying that the MG kits are superior. In fact, I'm waiting for my MG Freedom from scorcecold once he gets it shipped back here from Japan. So you buy kits for sentimental reasons, instead of because you like their design? Hurr good luck in your crappy GSD kits. XD Try watching 08th MS Team if you haven't already, it's relatively short (13 ep. OVA) and it's a nice departure from GSD's OMG SUPER LASER SPAMMING PWNAGE ROBOTS WE'RE ALL DOOMED! D: After that, go read up and illegally download Advance of Zeta's manga. They're made of pwnage and win (I've never liked a Gundam design solely based on its design alone. Proof that Hazel's chunky design is superior) Sentimental reasons? Not really. It's more like you can relate to the kit, sorta like you know what it's been through, who's the pilot (emo kid or not lol), etc. But I wouldn't lie either by saying the design's not a factor. That's the reason why I started with the Destiny (loved the design on that one heh). About AoZ, I'm afraid it'll have to wait until I have the time. Pretty busy lately, and hardly have enough time to catch up on my animus as it is. >_< |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ May 2 2006, 10:33 AM) Heheh... I was there, but didn't exhibit my model there.... mine are just snapped fixed with panel lines, how to compete with air brushed kits? RM128!! Wah...even if you dont like it, you should've bought it, then sold it off to someone for a profit lol. Anyway... mad promotion there.... MG freedom selling for RM 128, even my blue frame was RM 95 there The models exhibited there were superb, especially the MKII Titans... I would have bought one if not for the deterring price, I simply cannot afford RM 200+ on plastic now. There's also a C1 Plus there which was shadowed.... superb stuff. One thing I noticed is how puny in size 1/144 Seed kits compared to HGUC... That's what I'd do. HEH HEH HEH. Anyways, got pictures of the event? |

Wow the Akatsuki really is nice! I would've thought that the gold color would make it a little tacky, but it really does look good!
Thanks for the picture cubex! |
