I'm looking for 1/32 Ex-S
in the mean time here's a photo of my HY2M Gundam during the construction - though I had to abandon soon after and packed back into the box as missus wasn't going to let me put this bad boy in the house. sad.gif

It's stupid for Litt Takk to jack up the price of 1/144s to 99.90 or even more... For that price I might as well get a 1/100 from model shops.

As for stands, well, make one from a clothes hanger instead... will cost you probably RM 1 thumbup.gif

Google for 'Gundam papercraft', or check my links in the previous pages (if there is one, I can't remember). That is for either a Gundam Mk.V or a Hazel (can't remember too).

Not to mention, someone from Korea was working on the full Ex-S Gundam papercraft, if you saw another link I posted.

EDIT: THE INTERNETS GIVE YOU THIS.

http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en/gall...6&search_words=

Gundam Mk.V in 1/100 and Gundam Hazel in 1/60, with more parts coming to convert it to Advanced Hazel.

Speaking about loose joints, the joint that connects the HiMAT wings on my Freedom to the backpack is very loose...so it's kinda hard to pose the wings cause they tend to fall down due to their weight. sad.gif

Sorry mate, still haven't find time to fix my Freedom yet. So I wouldn't know about the wings... But my friend has finished his, he pretty much leaves his models alone as well after finishing them so he hasn't complained yet.

I'm referring to this:

The joint there is very loose, so the wings will rotate downwards due to their weight. I'm so jealous when I see dalong's one standing upright so nicely. cry.gif

Guys i read this before in a HK mag ...

use tissue paper to hold G.Wing joint  ... to strengthing the loose joint ...

get what i mean ... if a joint is too loose to stay there ... warp a piece of tissue paper around the male joint before sticking it into a female joint ... (hehehe a bit yellow if u think another ways around la ... haha)  ...

also a sheet of plastic aka the one u use to wrap tupperware /food one leh might work also...
:cheer

Wooo cool tip! I think I'll try it with my Freedom too. thumbup.gif

mass paint then finger technic?

LOL that's what I'd do.

sorcecold, pen it black all over, then use your finger or a piece of cloth to wipe off the surface paint. The ones in the seamlines will stay there.

P/s: Curios What happen if i BUMP tis thread?
(after tried: Haha tongue.gif only can BUMP in Trade Zone)

Yeah, I find that using the finger is better. Although sometimes I use the eraser if I want to control how fine I want the panel lining to be (in places without seams). smile.gif

^ WOW... 88 for an MG? but it's a simple gelgoog design though... You can get old (real old) MGs at <50 during Litt Takk's warehouse sale, but they're limited stock anyway.

Meanwhile... got too much cash to spare? how about this 350K yen 1/12 monster... those crazy japanese...doh.gif
