^^ Bumpin my question  sweat.gif

1) it do help abit. but make sure the color is not too thick when u spray and have enough time to cure(like 1-2 week) b4 u go "play" it. best bet is sand of abit the contact sufrace b4 spraying.

2) can try MrSurfacer from Gunze. Price should be 30+ for big bottle like anchor. where to get? i not sure, coz me not from KL area.

3) prime -->spray paint -->panel line -->top-coat. this is my way of doing.

dunno if this is news here yet, but it looks like Bandai is releasing a 1/35 scale model series soon, focusing on the on-the-ground/grunt-level view of things. I don't think you will get to see entire mobile suits at this scale, but if you dig 1/35 scale military dioramas, this could be your thing:

i think this is more on military genre and diorama. It look real cool, but really need some military modeling skill to make it look nice.

but the zaku head is cool~ rclxm9.gif

Thx StormV!

1. priming is just a one color layer isnt it? or is it like clear spray? yeah ive thought abt sanding it, sounds like a good idea. hopefully i can find a sand paper grade fine enough so that we cant see the dreadful lines.  rclxub.gif

2. right, not bad 30 for big can. ill look out for it. not sure if malacca has em tho. thx.

3. wait wait..why not panel line before spraying? erm i duno how to explain this. i sprayed and then panel lined my zeta a1, and the panel lines look crappy and too thick, and worse, unerasable. somehow it sticks to the paint really well. on the other hand, i paneled and then sprayed the strike rogue, turned out really beautiful. perhaps i shud have some pictures. argh, if u guys dont mind the so-so quality of my vga camera phone then ill put it up.

thx a lot Storm V. very enlightening indeed rclxm9.gif
*
1. priming usually is grey color, coz easy to check error.
3. well, like i said b4 that just my way of doing it. not necessary correct or the only way. just use u own way if u satisfy with the result.

np, dude. u r most welcome.

regarding the sand paper...i only manage to find 1200 grade on local hardware shop.

brother bee,
old history no need mentioned lar...paiseh saja. blush.gif

er wait a minute..i dun see any char's gelgoog ..anaval gato did tongue.gif
there are difference which u probably overlook
the figures  tongue.gif
er well thats about it, and these redundant release are not for all series, only some did
but it is very strong in seed series, juz look at the g gundam or char's counterattack series..its really clean from redundancy
*
there is MG char's gelgoog.

basically all 5 types of the MG gelgoog is the same, main different is their rifle. Only the one with shoulder cannon is "abit" difference.

but personally, I prefer gato gelgoog. Coz the rifle is very cool~!!

I wonder why BANDAI doesn't want to spend time making new kits, we're still waiting for 1/100 Gaia, Saviour... or maybe the 3 original druggies mechas... Oh well, at least they decide to release the Amatu whistling.gif
*
Have u seen any other brand that produce Gundam series plastic kit ?? (Excluding resin kit, coz that is a different thing.) No, rite ? Only Bandai.

Bandai is the sole producer of Gunpla kit, why they wanna rush out new kit ?Wut the rush? Coz no one is competing with them. Actually, they main rival is from Bandai itself, like the HCM-Pro, EMIA, GFF...etc.

And the steel mold is there already. It made sense to make full use of it. And that mean milk the hell out of our money. rclxub.gif

Hi,

Which gundam marker color gives better overall lining finish? Black or grey? I'll be using on the PG Strike Rouge. I have to ask opinion from experience fellas like you all before I order those markers. Not planning to get those in sets but individual. Thanks.
*
if u wan sharp-sharp look panel line, then black lor.

If u wan more natural/soft feel then go for grey. Personnally, I prefer grey if the surface is white.

Hi all!

I have a few questions & hope that you guys & gals can help me out before i start with my PG Strike Rouge.

....
....
....

Thanks a million.
*
1) Automobile use Clear Coat spray can only have GLOSS coat, as far as I know. For Flat coat and Semi-Gloss coat u only can get from Gunze and Tamiya brand. And automobile use clear coat tend to give more rough finish.

2) The "ultra-fine" is around 1mm also. http://www.hlj.com/product/GNZGMS110

3) Just make sure u dun damage the parts when u cutting it down from the runners, especially on darker color part like blue, red, black. Else this "no paint" technique is useless.

And for the sake of u PG, i strongly advice u get a cheapo Bandai kit to try out 1st.
