Good point actually, StormV, and it reminded me to laugh at myself once again. The thing is, I've yet to own a full airbrush equipment set  sweat.gif  blush.gif . So if I go on through the procedures, my models would all be in grey colouration since I'd go up to the surfacing process only. Har har.
arr...icic. if can afford then go for wave/gunze airbrush, cost around 400+. or u can get a taiwan brand which is around 150+, which pretty good too.

anyway, if u like old series gunpla, try shop around ToyCity. they have those old gunpla u showing. I also got my 144 Magella Attack (zion tank) from there..lol.

anyway, nice collection, i really impress. But really hope u can paint it, i sure u will love it more then ever.

i have 7 PG kits built over the time and still one unopened box...
with MG i'd probably built about 20+ though half of them were given away and currently have about 10 MG plus 8 new MG kits

i'd say quality over quantity he he
*
I only have 1 PG...Skygrasper + Alie Stirke pack...lol.

but i dun consider that a PG standard. more like HG standard to me.

btw StormV,
is gunze sangyo's airbrush set available in m'sia?
or is it ordering direct from japan is the only choice...
shipping would cost a bomb there doh.gif
*
i never seen/heard a shop at malaysia stock this high price stuffs. but i heard art-shop do have some good quality AB like olympus.

just the airbrush handpiece is very light only. the problem is the compressor. but i dun recommend getting compressor from japan online shop.

coz it is heavy; shipping is really killing, and i afraid the compressor might got damage during the shipping process, and lastly japan use AC-110 and u need to modifiy it yourself to AC-220 for local use.

i think compressor can be obtain from local market. u just need to ask around.

for human figures the smallest and more easy to find is 1/72 scale. just suitable to 1/100. although abit off too. or u can collect those 1/100 figures that come with MG kit.

wow...144 figures is really rare. Nice stash, Fodder Soldier~!!!!

if that is 1/100 scale MG kit there is archtecture figure line at 1/100 scale
believe the human figure in the picture is 1/72 scale which is way too big for 1/100 scale kit
*
way too big for 1/72. i believe those are 1/35 scale human figure.

QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Apr 22 2006, 09:06 PM)
I don't think 1/144 military men figurines are rare over there in Japan.

I have 2 batches of questions:

First, to StormV: About your Crossbone Gundam X-2 model. What's the model brand and was it 1/100? And most importantly, is there an X-1 version?
it is a recast resin kit which origin from http://www.core-works.com/ . U will need MG Wing Ka or MG Wing Custom as frame. The manual did mention it is 1/100, but I think it should be smaller. Yeah, the resin kit did provide u with X-1 and X-2 version head and fin. So u can choose either version.

SO SO.... Expensive wor....  shocking.gif
$170 X 3.8 = RM646  shakehead.gif
+ MG models, RM200+-
= RM850+-

So rich!!! rclxub.gif
*
That's y I got myself a recast kit, which is around 50%-40% of the original price. And the MG models, can use bendi mah coz just need the frame.

Hi All ... I'm new to ur forum here .. but decided to join u all ...
some of u may know me from other forum aka young _soul, scorecold... la anywhere i have some issue one the model u all are building?

1. do u customize ur gundam? like build or own weapon and decals and so on?
2. do u all just snap and glue ur kit or do u do custom fitting? like modify the joint or cover to allow custome fitting that u normally see in the Hobby Mag? where they cut off certain part of the armor to allow better flexibility ... can any one give some references to that kind of customie building ... (perfer link/forum). book too expensive la (saw one in ikano popular on basic ... saja)
goto MidValley MetroJaya's toy department, there is a Gundam Seed competition going on till 11th June. U will amazed by what the local gunpla master can do.

ya lo hazel should be in HGUC 1/144 saja mah since when it become 1/100 unless u mod from GM79Q saja ....

btw did anyone notice the zeta in 4/April Hobby Mag (taiwan) ... it a Mod version of Zetaa V.2.0 ... damn nice ....

do anyone know the internal of the zeta body in MG version have those 2 tube/ hidrolic tube build in??? aka do anyone have Zeta V2.0 Skeleton Picture??? can share or not?
*
there is resin kit for 1/100 Hazel, u can find it easily at e2046 and hobbyfanatics. in fact g-system also got a 1/72 hazel. But all these cost a bomb and not suitable for snap-fitter.

the 2 tube is custom add in one, original kit dun have such things. in fact, it is so heavily modded till it cannot transform into waverider mode.

i hav a question, how do i put on the decals?

the other one needs to be soak in water.

*
brother, all the MG Bandai kit decal no need to soak in water. Whoever ask u to do that should be spanked~!! vmad.gif

I believe it come with 3 pieces of decals, 1 is with silver chrome background, 1 with light-green background and last is with semi-transparent background.

the silver chrome and light-green background is peel and stick.

the semi-transparent u can follow brother whoami123 steps. actually it call dry-transfer decal.

and and hope u ENJOY modeling ~!!! rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif
