QUOTE(-j-t- @ Nov 1 2012, 11:00 PM) LOL i thought wanna flash wanam later =.= since things like this happen, keep back my official JB =) Actually flashing is quite safe. It's rarely you brick you phone (Of course that doesn't mean it doesn't happen). But chances of bricking is quite slim or maybe you just did something wrong |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Nov 1 2012, 11:04 PM) Ehehe..straight flashing is easy enough. Just follow the guide carefully then everything should be okay. one crucial thing some people forget always is to check md5 before flash, cause a bad file kills the phone's operabilityInfact..rooting S3 is the most easy among Samsung phone. Only one flash and you're rooted |

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Nov 1 2012, 11:05 PM) one crucial thing some people forget always is to check md5 before flash, cause a bad file kills the phone's operability Lol. Reminds me of the first time I flashed. The file I got was apparently incomplete which I didn't know. Flashed and it turned out weird. No keyboard and a few crucial things were missing. But luckily, wasn't any coding's error just file missing. lol.Added on November 1, 2012, 11:13 pm QUOTE(droidtrix @ Nov 1 2012, 11:10 PM) Quite true. QUOTE(noobandroid @ Nov 1 2012, 11:05 PM) one crucial thing some people forget always is to check md5 before flash, cause a bad file kills the phone's operability Hmm..i thought if the md5 not match then the flashing will fail but no harm to the phone. But i could be mistaken. One thing that need to be avoid it hand dont get itchy and click on repartition or anything else that not needed. lolz This post has been edited by waveweaver: Nov 1 2012, 11:14 PM |

QUOTE(drumhitz @ Nov 1 2012, 11:36 PM) No worries..we all learn something new each time we moves to other phone brand as different phone use different way of rooting. So far i heard HTC is the most problematic to root. Dont know whether true or not. |

Not to say problematic to root but u have to go a lot steps for root and it needs to unlock the bootloader, then only flash custom rom or custom kernal..
