Actually flashing is quite safe. It's rarely you brick you phone (Of course that doesn't mean it doesn't happen).

But chances of bricking is quite slim or maybe you just did something wrong biggrin.gif

Ehehe..straight flashing is easy enough. Just follow the guide carefully then everything should be okay.
Infact..rooting S3 is the most easy among Samsung phone. Only one flash and you're rooted thumbup.gif

one crucial thing some people forget always is to check md5 before flash, cause a bad file kills the phone's operability

Lol. Reminds me of the first time I flashed. The file I got was apparently incomplete which I didn't know. Flashed and it turned out weird. No keyboard and a few crucial things were missing. But luckily, wasn't any coding's error just file missing. lol.

No worries..we all learn something new each time we moves to other phone brand as different phone use different way of rooting. So far i heard HTC is the most problematic to root. Dont know whether true or not.

Not to say problematic to root but u have to go a lot steps for root and it needs to unlock the bootloader, then only flash custom rom or custom kernal.. sweat.gif
