hey guys, i just got my s3 a week ago. I just wanna know if I use the software update feature in the phone, would it update my phone to JB and completely wipe out all data and apps? or do the apps and saved data remain in the phone just with an updated OS?

Just to update, I found out the screen time out setting was set to 10min after jelly Bean update. This is so weird. This is the cause of my battery drain I think and not Google now. So I'm testing it again today by turning Google now back on. Time off now set to 15 second.

Success update my S3 thru Kies using my lappy ..
So far dont encounter any probs, like the smoothness
one i dont like is the display of the icon on top op the phone, where it didnt follow the colour of wallpaper background, not like ICS .. need to adapt the fell fast LOL

If you see your screenshot..your phone stated LIB (Poland) while pda LH1 (m'sia) and csc LH1 XME (m'sia).
Next time...you need to flash stock firmware via Odin or MobileOdin so you can have all three section belong to one firmware/country instead of mix like yours.

updated my unit to stock malaysian jb and flash to speedmod kernel,

1)if i flash back to malaysia stock jb via odin,will my unit be totally wiped out?

2)my unit is taking super long to charge. from 10percent to 70percent took 6hrs with a generic 1A charger.previously via ics it took 2hrs to fully charge from 0 percent. u guys experienced this?

why no jelly bean theme apply after i updated to jelly bean 4.1?

I use Mobile Odin Pro to flash back to Stock Jellybean which I downloaded from SAMMobile...

After flash, now i am on official stock jellybean, but when I go to software update and check, it show Your device has been modified, Software Updates are not avaialble... any help?

experience my first auto reboot yesterday since i get my phone.. 4.1.1 not rooted.

Anyone encounter lag while enable power saving? While power saving on, u will see laggy while swiping around. Sorry if anyone mentioned before.
