this is so not right, a great phone comes with a blend of good hardware and software.
if not why they use exynos 5 and 300 ppi screen for nexus 10. icon_rolleyes.gif

is not I dont like it for me 8GB also enough coz i got tablet and PC for other things but other power user that wish for pure android experience will be dissapointed.

i understand wat are trying to say,

i just want to point out that software and user experience comes 1st then hardware...

for nexus 10, coz they nid good user experience, so they nid powerful hardware to power up the awesome high pixel density screen wink.gif

If it's still Jelly then would be 4.1.3?

Yalo this release update should be called 4.1.3. Android 4.2.x should be on the next dessert name, because when you look at the previous release update, 2.1.x = Eclair, 2.2.x = Froyo, 2.3.x = Gingerbread. rclxub.gif

not to say all not right,
check the gnex camera? the memory? the gpu? the cpu? the speaker? the wifi? ram 1gb(not important)?
yes google can choose better ones but that will collide with s3, and with that pricing,
samsung will lose in terms of bang for buck.

if they want to go all out, they could equip with newer OMAP cpu and gpu, 8mp zero shutter, better screen pixel arrangement, 32/64gb flash storage, better speakers, stronger wifi chipset (integrated chipset), and much more.
but they didnt they did that for a reason. not to interfere with competition with the flagships made by the manufac
if u think they cannot hear all the users in xda asking more storage?

btw, itz not like the hardware sucks, i find it alright, but not a show stopper when compared.
good enuf to compete with a 4s with less than half the price brows.gif

what you are referring to is not power user. Its lazy users, just keep dumping in everything he can find and never bother to remove unnecessary thing that are not needed.

Power users are people that make real use of whatever available to them and make the most out of it by squeezing every inch from available hw and sw for productivity tongue.gif

LG Optimus G already has 13 MP camera, why LG don't put it in LG Nexus 4? If it has 1366 x 768 screen resolution would be cool. Gonna stick with my Galaxy Nexus even though i'm drooling for the quad-core S4 Pro.

as mention in my above post.
hardware google always put lower spec 1..
u own the gnexus u should know.
cpu.gpu =old, even new 1 avaliable dun use
camera= 2nd grade, s3 hav the better 8mp n sensor
wifi chipset intergreted so cannot do much
screen pixel arrangement and the list go on.

dun think n4 will be a show stopper when the s4 launches or some newer phone launches.
just like how gnexus had it with.

but our software upgrades is what we should be proud of roms/kernals/mods

btw, u want 14mp on a 8gb phone that has 5gb usable???
i wish u luck thumbup.gif

like i said, Google doesnt nid to go to max spec...they focus on user experience

stock android + decent spec can win a very good spec phone with ui overlay in terms of usability and smoothness

Pure stock Google experience for user is wat Google mainly focused on

this is because they want to offer cheap price.
if they go all out expect the price will not be cheap.

wow, see a lot Gnexus users here defending to the max about storage and the hardware...

anyway, i think both nexus phone and flagship phone have their very own advantage, no need to bicker what is good and what's not
afterall android is all about option, customisation and variety
we are not iSheep with like it or leave concept

wrong, if they all go max spec, the price difference is only a slight difference like 50 or so, will not hike 100-200
so if the current spec increased, say u will spend 430 AUD for a n4 with damm high spec.

manufacturing cost is little compared to the paper work done and the patents they had to deal with.

but local sellers will hijack the price to 2k 4 sure
