2K for Nexus 4 is definitely not worth it. Considering we all know the selling price in US is only $329, which is just a little more than RM1k.

It'll not be a smart move by LG to mark up the price that high if they wanna raise awareness bout their brand here. Based on my own observation, a lot of commoner will not chose a Nexus device. Back when Galaxy Nexus is selling for RM 1,150 a lot of people still go for Galaxy S2.

I kinda regret not getting one when its that cheap. Now my father constantly flashes his Jelly Bean Nexus in front of my face  sweat.gif

I guess there's more than 10 JB custom rom for Galaxy S2 floating around in Garage Sales.
Believe me... Flash custom rom. You'll never look back. Custom ROM basically unleashes a beast out of ANY android phone! Not to mention that you're having a S2.

Btw, S2 ICS/GB homescreen transition is so laggggyyy. I don't even need to look at it in personal. Just look at other ppl using S2 from side/behind and see them swipe between screen also so obvious to my eyes brows.gif

In US only Google is selling $329. Unlocked from carrier is $499.

Nexus 4 definitely worth more than LG Optimus G which is price range with HTC One X and S3.

For me, price is relative. It is different on each individual.

And google selling it dirt cheap bcause they want to attract and profit more from google play. right?

So, based on specs. LG just puts it back on the 'default' price.

if not mistaken you will have 2gb - rom for apps and os and 8gb internal storage. if not store any hd movie / FLAC songs.. shouldn't be a problem.

the answer is a definite no in malaysia. unless u want the phone to become a super dumb phone. that means only basic casual gaming (angry birds), phone calls, sms, whatsapp, emails, and browsing, camera and minimum music storage, nothing more. which beats the purpose of getting this phone, save your RM500 and get a budget phone enough if u only want to do basic stuff.

AFAIK it's similar to the Nexus 7 in which the 2GB is strictly for the system partition [OS files etc] and 5.3GB~ for everything else from apps to games to movies to music.

Personally i don't think the 8GB version is enough because you're actually only getting around 5GB . Games like NOVA 3 for example is already 1.7GB on it's own.

depends in how you use ... personally I think 5GB [ 3gb for ROM stuff ] should be ok already ... most common everyone use browsing , email , whatsapp , some photo apps , some audio stuff and some basic stuff ...

Huh..1.7gb? I didn't know it was that big. I tot wanna try Nova 3 since Nexus 4 comes with Adreno 320 brows.gif
My friend did bring up a point though, wonder if Google's going to release a 32gb version of Nexus 4 like it did with Nexus 7? He's betting his money on the 32gb version and is willing to wait for it...wonder if I should do the same hmm.gif
