if its the first time you flash jellybam, you should perform a full wipe.
but make sure you backup all necessary files first.. especially sms and whatsapp folder.

for contacts you can sync with google.

you have to perform a full wipe whenever you jump to a different ROM.

AOKP = Android Open Kang Project
CM = CyanogenMod
AOSP = Android Open Source Project

all 3 are different builds with different custom "special" features. smile.gif

but i recommend jellybam because you can try all 3 builds. nod.gif
so there's no point to jump around other ROMS as they're most likely the same.

if you want to update, dont update tonight as i've been following, they'll most likely release a new update in a day or 2. so dont waste effort in setting up first.

1. App installed: Notification toggles
- Tweaked to be like iOS6:
-> Tap on FB icon, can update status straight away
-> same goes for twitter
-> the other 2 is my personal brightness configs

- also there's a brightness slider (AOKP settings)
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

2. this is how it looks like, though not like ios6, but it gives out the same features. direct access
to update statuses for fb/twitter. smile.gif
- keyboard used: smart keyboard pro.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

3. dialpad
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

4. call screen
- dialing
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

- hung up
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

5. default browser with tablet mode and custom DPI.
- also installed flash (apk can find outside of play store)
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

7. see the dock.
- tweaked it to have the iphone music bar. and a custom app next to it.
-> can be done with nova launcher with experimental menu enabled (long press volume down in nova settings)
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

8. gmail in tablet mode.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

9. i think this is an alarm from JB 4.2 (should be leaked app)
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

10. music menu on the notification bar. (should be default jellybean AOSP based)
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

yea custom rom, rooted is included.

1. JUMPING to a different rom -> yes its required to do a full wipe
2. UPDATING the same rom with new version -> not necessary, unless stated by the dev. but most of the time
there's no need to wipe... just wipe cache and dalvik cache.

anyway, thats most of the stuff i did for my phone. im a minimalistic person. so yea smile.gif my mods are mostly minimalistic.
