By the way wanna ask, if I'm rooted and I flash this ROM, will it wipe? And after wiping and installing, will the root still there?

Nope.

After you've flashed this rom you won't be able to use your rooted feature since this is a official rom.

There's a way to root it...
I already rooted mine(Leaked 4.1.2) with this zip file http://www.mediafire.com/?p5r503u1run77w2...
Just enter recovery mode and flash it...

you play with dpi, wont cause play store issue?
i often get cant download app cos not compatible issue. even though the app clearly is suppose to work.
need restore dpi, clear data for play store only can download apps again.

so frustrating, never dare play with dpi again.

Just wanna ask, I just flashed the stable version of CM10, and I realized they are still releasing nightlies after the release of the stable version. Just wondering, are these nightlies an improvement on the stable version or are they still considered experimental builds that may have stuff not working?

it could be experimental, it could be complete.
if you're having doubts. always do a nandroid.
in case that version screws your phone up and enter boot loops. at least you have a safe backup in your sd-card.

then just restore and never try that upgrade or wait till there's a fix nod.gif

hello, i asked this question last time. and antoo answered me. time to pass on the knownledge. haha.

the stable version, its just another nightly with a 'stable' tag.

well, cm always wana be in nightlies one. they release 'stable' version just for name sake only.
cm9 also like that, when jellybean release, then they just choose one lucky nightly to be stable version,
then focus their work on cm10.

i've been using cm10 nightlies late september. update nightlies every few days.
no noticable difference also. seems same only. now i also lazy update, maybe once a week only.
since sept, the only noticable difference is got include cm file manager few weeks ago.
smoothness, battery life, all same only.

Two questions for fellow S2 users here smile.gif

1) Anyone using higher mAh batteries for their S2 here? I don't want the ones that require me to use a different cover, just a battery with higher then 1650 mAh. Please recommend.

2) If I use a dual sim adapter, will I be able to use my 2nd SIM's 3G connection to use my WhatsApp that is registered to my 1st SIM?

Thanks!

So the nightlies are gradual improvement over the Stable? I'm sure there's a reason they decided that that particular build is considered stable. I guess I dont have to be afraid that some previously working feature will stop working if I update the nightlies. BTW, is there anywhere I can see the changelog for nightlies? cuz I can't find them anywhere

higher capacities are bigger IIANM so need the cover. unless you're using a cover like the casemate tough/otterbox

you can use the whatsapp account registered to your first sim. i'm doing that right now but not with a dual sim adapter.
