QUOTE(mengfart @ Nov 17 2012, 02:15 PM) Nope. Ah crap, I need to wait for Gokhan to release a rooted kernel then After you've flashed this rom you won't be able to use your rooted feature since this is a official rom. =) Oh wait, ain't Gokhan's kernel compatible with JB? So means can use la? This post has been edited by fabianz03: Nov 17 2012, 02:27 PM |

Just wanna ask, I just flashed the stable version of CM10, and I realized they are still releasing nightlies after the release of the stable version. Just wondering, are these nightlies an improvement on the stable version or are they still considered experimental builds that may have stuff not working?

Two questions for fellow S2 users here
1) Anyone using higher mAh batteries for their S2 here? I don't want the ones that require me to use a different cover, just a battery with higher then 1650 mAh. Please recommend. 2) If I use a dual sim adapter, will I be able to use my 2nd SIM's 3G connection to use my WhatsApp that is registered to my 1st SIM? Thanks! |

I'm sure there's a reason they decided that that particular build is considered stable. I guess I dont have to be afraid that some previously working feature will stop working if I update the nightlies. BTW, is there anywhere I can see the changelog for nightlies? cuz I can't find them anywherethe stable version, its just another nightly with a 'stable' tag. well, cm always wana be in nightlies one. they release 'stable' version just for name sake only. cm9 also like that, when jellybean release, then they just choose one lucky nightly to be stable version, then focus their work on cm10. i've been using cm10 nightlies late september. update nightlies every few days. no noticable difference also. seems same only. now i also lazy update, maybe once a week only. since sept, the only noticable difference is got include cm file manager few weeks ago. smoothness, battery life, all same only. |
