this is also normal. its just modded for DPI.
it functions just like the original.

however, if you do not want to flash this..
try delete cache for the following in Settings -> Apps

1. google play store
2. google services framework
3. reboot

4. once rebooted. they should ask you about "location" just click ok.
5. open play store.
6. might have some errors (text-based errors)
7. clear google play store cache once again under Settings -> Apps
8. open play store again and it'll work.
*
yeah manage to get things working again.
did a search on the
"Google Play Error [RPC:S-5:AEC-0]"

and manage to get a solution, i just remove my google account, and add it back then settle.
previously i use TB to restore my account, maybe thats the issue. now get back everything.

new jellybam 18nov one,
now the clear all button in recent app is on the right side,
so easy to press with my right hand, yeah.

jellybam is officially my favourite rom now.
previously was cm10.

in jellybam can choose which quick toggle you wan,
i prefer cm10 on, so completely disable the aokp one.

i never use paranoid settings, just leave it untouched.

compare to official cm10 nightly,
jellybam allows me to have navigation buttons with adjustable height thanks to aokp feature.
i can have more lock screen shortcuts thanks to aokp feature too.

jellybam really combines EVERYTHING in cm10,aokp,and PA.
wonder how developer of these 3 feel, all their hard work being compile together by someone. i think in the near future all will use jellybam.

i usually just want it to be at level 1.
but it always ring at level 7 or higher, so loud.

i set the settings to have expandable volume bar, but always become no extandable.
duno whats wrong, is this known aokp bug? never happen in cm10 before.

i disable profile feature, and never use quiet hours.
and no my ringer volume is not linked to notification volume

my problem is, notification volume dont folo my settings.
in my volume settings, notification volume is level1.
but when i get message, notification volume ring at almost maximum volume.

need to go settings>sounds> slide the notification volume higher, then make it back level1, then only the volume stick. everytime reboot need do this.

for CRT off effect, if wifi is not on, sometimes no CRT off effect.
known issue in cm10

hmmm, but mine seems to be fine? :S

i just use my volume button since i linked them! nod.gif

but yea sometimes it can go very loud even at a low level.. but i just use my volume buttons to set them once again..

perhaps you can highlight the issue in their facebook page?
*
they got fb page?
later i find and see.

you wont have this problem since you link your volume.

for some people, they dont like it to be linked.
i prefer soft notification, and loud ringer volume,
cos i get alot of notifications. disturbing if too loud, besides, my phone is always near me.haha

yea i been using it since they ported it, but very hard to get it nicely aligned even with a ball and socket joint concept, to do a 360 is hard
*
hi, the ball and socket joint concept works perfectly, i have numerous very successful photo sphere, not perfect, but 90-95% good stitch, the ones shared by hugo barra is 100% perfect, maybe he really mount it on a ball and socket fixture. haha.

this is how i do it:
1. place phone at eye level
2. put phone about 2 inch away from your eye
3. use left hand, point upwards to the sky with 1 finger
4. place phone on finger, use it as the 'joint'
5. rotate around your finger and snap half the sphere infront of you
6. carefully move to the opposite side without moving the phone, keep your finger and phone in same position
7. continue rotate and snap the other half of the sphere.

this way, each half of the sphere is perfect, and the 5-10% bad stitch usually happen at the part where the 2 half sides of the sphere join.

by the way, try the tiny planet effect, really nice,
it edits the photosphere in a way as if it was viewed from the top of the sphere, cool stuff,

nice guide, will try it =D let's make photospheres the next-gen panoramas, and make the ifags jelly
*
duno how to make them jelly, its only viewable in google plus desktop site, and the 4.2 gallery.

what i can do is apply tiny planet effect, and share only lo. its quite impressive also.

i do notice something strange, the top and bottom somtimes is black empty circle.
the slower i move, the smaller the circle, some of hugo barra samples completely no black circles, duno how he do it.

man...very betahan with jellybam loud notification bug!!!

even after reset, the notification volume just love to jump to maximum.
duno whats wrong with it!! cant stand it anymore.

going back to cm10, i guess nothing is perfect, when it join all the features of cm10, aokp and PA, bound to introduce more bugs.

Why don't just link notification volume & ringtone?
*
hahaha, many people dun understand my problem.

my ringer volume is max, my notification volume is minimum.
thats the way i want it.

but somehow it stupidly link my notification volume to max.
i clearly click do not link in volume settings, when i open the volume control, notification volume is min,
but when ring, it ring at max volume doh.gif this is REALLY a bug and not suppose to happen.

i guess if you still want to stick to jellybam, there's only 1 temporary fix solution..

1. extract the .ogg sound file out
2. edit it with a sound wave editor.. reduce the volume till its very low
3. place it under media/notifications
4. change it to that one.

nod.gif
*
nah...get back to cm10 already.
i dont use any PA settings in jellybam, the thing that interest me in jellybam is aokp ability to make nav bar smaller.
in cm10 the nav bar size is fixed.

having slightly smaller navbar but have faulty notification sound is not worth.
at least to me.

my home key sometimes not working, so i prefer use the nav bar.
its good for me, unified UI with my nexus7 tablet. like like wub.gif

by the way, the battery life and smoothness is the same to me in cm10 and jellybam.

your home key is also not working sometimes? mine too..
dont know if its ROM related. hmm.gif
*
its working, but sometimes i have to press slightly abit hard only it response.

i prefer software buttons anyway.
i mainly use phone to sms and whatsapp. rarely browse web also. have my tablet for that.
so the lost of some screen space is not that bad. after measure, my screen now is 4.0 inch. ok la, 0.3 inch for the nav bar. not a big deal.

besides you can use the expand desktop feature in jellybam to minimize the nav bar when you want to browse.
set the height to 36, its the sweet spot, then the screen will be 4.1inch after minus the nav bar.

same case here!
i dont know why but im going to send it back for warranty soon.

well, yea i like the navbar, but i am still looking for a way to tweak it.. like when i open an app, it hides the navbar instead..

i managed to do it with nova launcher, using gesture + activity.
but i have to do it manually..

i think "tasker" should be able to do it, just that i dont have time to play around as the settings looks complicated. laugh.gif
*
you're using jellybam right?

just enable it in aokp settings, then you can customize it.
the nav bar is persistant no matter what app you use.
you can only minimize it with the aokp feature called expand desktop in aokp power button settings.

i know, but if i use expand desktop, i wont to seem my notification bar laugh.gif

i just want to auto hide the navbaar when.. lets say i open whatsapp or messaging. smile.gif

hehe, and i mention i manage to manual hide it with gestures using nova launcher.. i just use two finger
to swipe down whenever i want to hide my navbar.  thumbup.gif
*
haiya, small issue, install smart statusbar.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...sbar.free&hl=en

been using this for long long time.
even when i dont use nav bar.
sometimes in apps, the status bar hide, i cant check time, message, adjust brightness etc.
just swipe down and it will appear. can customize how long it auto hide again. usefull stuff!

it will appear even when it is hidden by expanded desktop feature.

unbelievable!

the volume loud bug also in cm10.

i found out a way to replicated the bug. this is how it happen.
it always happen on first boot, and returning from silent mode.

when you press volume button, you will hear a beep sound right?
say from volume level 5, change to level1, will hear a soft beep,

reduce volume until silent, phone will vibrate, then increase volume to level 1. you will hear a loud beep. weird.

increase volume to 2, then 1 again, soft beep.
happens everytime.

you sure you do it correctly?
its always "Yes" for 4th option from the bottom.

but since you have rooted. flash another kernel and see if it works..
try dorimanx if you are non-G

for G version you gotta find your kernel.

Added on November 20, 2012, 6:52 pm

that means the bug is CM10's one.. not jellybam builds. laugh.gif
*
but since jellybam has cm10 inside also, it also inherit this bug. haiyo.... doh.gif
at least now i know how it happen, will be careful after toggle silent mode and first boot.
