it works fine, the highlight is the photosphere, it stiches the photos wrong, even though i allign them correctly..
needs some polishing
*
Photo sphere works perfectly.
You must keep the center of the phone at the same position when rotate.

Treat it like a ball and socket joint.
The results are 90% accurate stitching.

Last time I move my whole hand. That's why wrong.

Try again and you'll be impressed.

i really recommend this ROM because it has every single build special features..

but i think you should wait for 1 more release because i have been keeping track.. the new version has alot of complaints of it being a broken unstable rom. alot of problems.
so wait for the next release for it to be fixed..

i didnt upgrade. using 1 version before this. nod.gif

is your phone rooted? if it is go to recovery mode.

http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/what-i...complete-guide/
read all about it here (wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, etc..)
*
If it has the features of all roms.
It also has the bugs of all three roms combined. Haha.

Dont wait for malaysia official jb. Malaysia always late in update. Just flash with others country official jb or buy nexus. Nexus now with jb 4.2.

tried the leaked rom......cant stand the big big icons n so on......restore my aokp with 200dpi
*
you play with dpi, wont cause play store issue?
i often get cant download app cos not compatible issue. even though the app clearly is suppose to work.
need restore dpi, clear data for play store only can download apps again.

so frustrating, never dare play with dpi again.

Just wanna ask, I just flashed the stable version of CM10, and I realized they are still releasing nightlies after the release of the stable version. Just wondering, are these nightlies an improvement on the stable version or are they still considered experimental builds that may have stuff not working?
*
hello, i asked this question last time. and antoo answered me. time to pass on the knownledge. haha.

the stable version, its just another nightly with a 'stable' tag.

well, cm always wana be in nightlies one. they release 'stable' version just for name sake only.
cm9 also like that, when jellybean release, then they just choose one lucky nightly to be stable version,
then focus their work on cm10.

i've been using cm10 nightlies late september. update nightlies every few days.
no noticable difference also. seems same only. now i also lazy update, maybe once a week only.
since sept, the only noticable difference is got include cm file manager few weeks ago.
smoothness, battery life, all same only.

So the nightlies are gradual improvement over the Stable? I'm sure there's a reason they decided that that particular build is considered stable. I guess I dont have to be afraid that some previously working feature will stop working if I update the nightlies. BTW, is there anywhere I can see the changelog for nightlies? cuz I can't find them anywhere
*
not sure why i wasnt clear.
repeat again, i used cm since cm9. flash so many nightlies during cm9, all same only.
bugs that exist still exist even on stable cm9. most prominent is the "pull down notification tray and there is nothing there bug". even the nightlies after stable cm9 still got this issue. stupid. once jellybean announce, they just put the stable tag there.

in cm10, less bugs. the one that still exist is "if wifi off, sometimes no crt off effect (animation) when you lock the phone". thats all. from nightlies, no difference at all for end users, at least nothing noticable.

the only thing added, that IS noticeable is the new CM file manager.
so far all CM10 nightlies are good. you can update when you like.

in SETTINGS>ABOUT PHONE>CYANOGENMOD updates

you can check for new nightlies. it will download.
when it finish download just tap install. it will auto enter cwm flash, wipe cache and restart for you.
i usually download before sleep, when wake next morning, install the update, by the time i finish brush teeth, it finish update already. simple as that.

if you want to see the change log, tap at the nightly in the
SETTINGS>ABOUT PHONE>CYANOGENMOD updates

but believe me, the changelog is in cyanogen language, normal user wont understand a thing.

nightly is experimental, stable is stable, even if its after stable build they might experiment on something that may cause previously stable things to be unstable. and i wonder why you can't find the changelog, did you even visit the cm10 thread? its so obvious and big
*
no need to go their website,
cm now have cm updater in
settings> about phone

where can auto download and install nightlies and check change log.
but their changelog always the usual things like

update translation for this and that,
merge this and that,
update lib for this and that
update gerrit for this and that
fix unknown this and that
weird numbers and alphabeths this and that.
rclxub.gif

the only changelog i understand was
~added circle batter icon
~added extended desktop feature(not for S2, for tablets)
~added cm file manager app

ya, since 2 months back, these are the small 3 new things.

this jellybam rom, mainly based on aokp or cm?
the notification tray looks like aokp, but aokp toggles usually one row can fit 5/6 only. how come yours can it 7?
can toggle navigation bar size?

i found an interesting thing about cm10 official nightly.

there is no navigation bar, but it can be enabled easily.

use any method you like to add this line of code in your build prop.

qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

reboot and you will have on screen navigation bar.

photo sphere really gooding la.

took so many nice shots.
once you know the trick, really can take impressive pictures!

imagine you're standing in the middle of a sphere and want to look around it.
you are the center, and you turn your neck to see around you.

same for the phone. the phone is your 'head', and need to have a imaginary 'neck' below the phone.
rotate the phone around without moving the imaginary 'neck'. the camera which is the 'eyes' will start capturing the surroundings and stitch them together. the results are impressive.

see video below for better explanation.
