Greeting S2 users, am not S2 user, but my friend seek help from me, said that his S2 ( non G ) with RR 3.1.0 with Siyah v5.0.b1, just wanna ask opinion that above rom + kernel stable enough or not . . . . been go through whole 12 pages of V37 but wasnt help too much.

Any input from fellow S2 owner ? Should I just suggest him flash back ICS rom ?

i'm not using RR you have to wait someone else who's using it but in my opinion la ok, if your friend is the type that prefers very stable no problems at all and not really into flashing/updating, then i suggest you stick with the current ICS roms, because there havent been a single samsung s2 leak from samsung and the jb roms are all 'homebrewed' so i would not suggest to use them yet.

how to know whether the phone is a recon set or ap set as mine i bought a 2nd set?

but yep awesome rom, love the freedom it allows to change size and layout, tablet mode and the nav colours, definitely not going to any other roms anymore

recon set hard to determined but ap set is simple,if the device have no sme sticker,it is ap.

I was using RR v3.1.0 for a short while . Fast & smooth but battery sux. Something to do with memleak. Have move on since to CM10. A lot better battery life.

planning to dual boot..cm10 able to dual boot?..i tried jellybam as second rom but after install, it just blank...maybe jellybam not support dual support.

Anyone here using CM10 Mali get random hang/freeze when accessing any apps or when using? It just freeze at there and the screen keep on and can't do anything to it, can't press any button at all. The only solution is to hold the power button till it restarts or take out the battery. Anyone have this kind of problem or have any solution to it?

do you get this often? i've never had this on CM10 JB MALI yet

But when i tried to tap the navi bar and check the memory,no memory leak like v3.0.8....

i using cm10 and its fantastic.
the only small bug is srt off effect dont work when wifi is off. minor cosmetic issue only.

battery life good, smooth, no hang and no force close.
most importantly 100% no SOD.
the bugs even less than cm9. very satisfied.
yesterday nightly even include a new cm style file manager.

Thx mtxx for the 4.2 camera patch link. Now i have photo sphere working.

my photosphere like slow slow only when snap, when wanna snap the bottom pic the alignment move very slow

find the patched version from android police, the one mtxx gave is unpatched version, that you need to modify the default.prop only can work

does anybody know how/where can i get the stock note app?? i dont find any replacement for the apps that can restore my previous notes file..

btw im running cm10 now.. i save some notes in my phone when im using stock ics before this.. now i need it back..
