QUOTE(AnNamir @ Nov 4 2012, 12:25 PM) Happy Weekend semua =) an app is changing it back, make sure that there is not more than one app that you set to changing the governor.Got question here... my CPU Governor setting is always bertukar to default by itself. I had change it in Performance > Processor (default setting is Hyper with min 200mhz, max 1200mhz). So I set it to Ondemand with min 100mhz, max 1000mhz. After several minutes it will be back to default setting. Had tried adjusting using ROM Toolbox but still give the same result after several minutes. Any idea guys? |

QUOTE(shawn2k4 @ Nov 11 2012, 10:11 AM) I tried to upgrade my ROM & Kernel at the same time. The ROM that i wanted to load in was called JellyBam. And i tried to load in CM10 Kernel. must be your unlucky day, your kernel must be quite old and have the bug, so when you flash a rom, the aroma i think, did a full wipe, so that's where it happens. the latest kernels all fixed this. We usually just flash only, we don't really care hahas, i flash rom+gapps+kernel+other stuffs all one shot usuallyAll this was done by copying the ZIP file into my phone SD Card , reboot into recover mode. And i followed the ROM's Installation Wizard after i run it from the SD Card. Upon completing the Wizard, and the application starts extracting the ROM Package, my phone just died off and could never be turned on ever since. I googled up and down in and out, only to find the relation to this *e-MMC Brick Bug* which resembles exactly the same symptom that i had. Now the phone is in Samsung Factory not sure if it'll cost me anything cause its still under warranty By the way in terms of flashing , do you guys normally flash only the ROM or do you guys flash the Kernel as well? Prior to my attempt above, everything was original from Samsung. No alteration/flashing done before. I did root the device & had CWM prior to flashing. Not sure if i'm doing the right thing, but the first attempt has gave me quite a SCARE.. |
