did you enable DHCP on your S2? Must enable it else your S2 won't be able to give an IP to your N7 and the N7 will take forever to connect.

i filled in the CPP form around 10am yesterday and got the reply around 130pm via email the same day. Before i made the payment yesterday evening, they told me ready stock at office but then now tell me it will only be ship out from Fedex in L.A. US tonight. Anyway, not a big deal for me just that i was expecting they ship out today and reach me tomorrow so that i can play with it during the weekend.

hope it is not too late now but i do not have S2 but it should be under Setting>wifi hotspot>more setting or advance setting maybe. You should get a better answer at S2 thread.

I think we are in the same batch, paid mine yesterday. I was told It will be shipped from Fedex Los Angeles tomorrow night. Hopefully they will receive it by Monday and send to us the next day.

It is indeed strange problem encountered by sassychia. I never encounter any problem with TB Pro since i started to use it from HTC Desire till now on Note II and Tab 7.7. Maybe your internal memory has problem - maybe can try reformat the internal memory but need Uncle Benny confirmation whether this is workable as i haven't got my hand on one yet. Later give wrong advice.

i think you can try to request for a new unit replacement already since your unit keep giving problem.

must show them black face and sound more forceful telling them you do not have so much time to lepak at their SC. Request to meet their manager.

officially Asus Malaysia only offer 16GB WiFi. But you can find every configuration and specs from the garage or Newegg Malaysia (for the cheapest 32GB WiFi).

Can't believe you guys got it so fast coz I thought next week only arrive. Fast fast go to my mum's office to check out. Thankfully mine arrived too....yippie!!!!! Got something to play with this weekend.

you just need to take it as it is now. If you are so concern about the lack of certain features of this device, then most probably you will regret buying it. I did not get it when it was launched 4 months ago becoz the 16GB internal is just too little for my usage since it does not come with a more convenient microSD vs external storage via adaptor. I just waited and now the 32GB is available, i do not hesitate now.

Like uncle Benny said, i also do not take picture with my Tab 7.7, normally use my phone camera (now Note II) to take casual pictures. So the lack of camera does not bother me at all. You just need to get the specs you would like now, no need to consider whether the future model will come with a better camera, better CPU, etc. as I can guarantee you - it will definitely get a back camera in the future. It is just a revolution of a popular device as manufacturer will add more and more features to it. So a back camera is definitely going to be there. But when a 5 megapixel cam is introduced, you might wait for 8 megapixel cam and so on. The waiting never ends.

I always scrap the value of my device to zero as soon as i bought it. The future value is really irrelevant as this is not an investment, it is an expenses.

btw, RM1,099 for 3G model is a good deal too. But RM300 more than WiFi only is not so tempting.

not comparing to the expensive local 16GB of course. I am comparing it to the RM820.90 32GB wifi we just received today. For those who bought 16GB local set will be very upset as RM200 more they can get 16GB more memory and 3G.

bought mine for just RM3 just now afternoon. Price is cheap but quality not bad coz bought from wholesaler. Found the original Asus charger like better quality than Samsung one - it feel more solid and much heavier.

Bought from an electrical wholesale shop in JB. I mean comparing the N7 charger with Samsung Note II charger, both charging at 2A but N7 charger looks better quality. Some say can buy the original ipad charger (RM89)charging at 2.1A to use with N7 too. I think if buy locally, the ipad charger should come with 3 pin or at least those normal 2 pin we have that does not need an adaptor.
