Yep, It was cut down from the original price of RM1099, I think I saw discounted price of RM699, not RM849 as shown in their website. I'm trying to find the ads online but I can't find it.

Update: I manage to find their FB Page, and confirmed the price with them. I myself am quite shock with this low price.

A bit, the bass is looser on iphone and the highs are too sharp

technically speaking, high resolution only applies to electronics such as dap, dac but not ear/headphones. for electronics, anything that plays back above 16bit/44.1KHz is considered high resolution. however, for ear/headphones, there isn't a technical definition at all.

all the top premium headphones in the world, Stax, Audeze LCDs, Mr Speakers Ethers, Sennheiser HDs, Shure SRHs etc does not carry the hires audio logo.

if this month until before chinese new year, as far i know, MDR-1ABT selling RM1099 after rebate RM200. i not sure how much the price where dealers & reseller offer, but if you're sony store member, should be entitled 10% discount, which is RM989.10

Noted, thanks for the info, currently there is no MDR-1ABT demo unit available for me to test in JB, even 1 of the largest Sony Centre at Desa Tebrau also closed down

Swt I tested the MDR-1ABT at SG, but their side selling RM1350++(even after discount, exchange rate hurts a lot)...

Decided to buy after having ear-gasm using LDAC(Quality) setting paired with my Sony A-15, but there are no stock in JB sony centres so far... not even pre-order...

Anyone here can offer some help on pre-ordering this awesome MDR-1ABT...
