never understand how or where u read that kernal got bizness to do with data..

only thing happen to ur data is when u
wipe to flash new rom (sd data not wiped) or
wipe to flash new kernal (sd data not wiped) or
restore stock (sd data wiped)

see no point with narn these days, it backs up sd and all which is pointless
pull and push works much more better n efficient. and no fail md5 problems
and with roms every 2 weeks, itz more hassle to pull the narn copy and make a new 1

only narn i keeep is ICS 4.0.4 and JB 4.1.1 thats all whistling.gif

Seriously...  It's totally same. Since if we face problem when dirty flash, we're going to reflash it 'clean-ly'. But what we saved is lots of time at restoring backup each time we flash. Got the idea? Let's say each time you take 10mins to restore with clean flash.

Say we flash rom 10 times. Then you need 100mins to restore.

Say we dirty flash 10 times only get 1 time with problem, we use only 10mins to restore and maybe another 5mins to do clean wipe and flash.

Neglect the backup time assuming either clean/dirty flash, we do backup before flashing in either method.

dun just hit restore all
choose what u need and use most on ur previous rom, to avoid clutter.
then u can break down more easier on how to save power
