Hey I'm a noob when it comes to smartphones, so I'm gonna ask a very noob question...

I just tried the OTG cable (free gift on purchase) on my galaxy nexus, connected it with a pendrive.. didn't work... then I tried to connect it with my mouse, also didn't work..

Can anybody tell me why my OTG cable isn't working?
Is it because the cable is spoiled? I only got to try it today...
Or is it because I'm running stock android...

Reading reviews on the new phones in the market.

Note 2 battery life is so good until I was a bit 
Such a big screen, can score 69hours endurance test rating from gsmarena. That's 3 days... with 1 hour of call, web browsing and video each day. Note is just 39hours. 600mAh increase in battery capacity but almost double the endurance rating.

Quad core more power efficient than dual core yet got moreeee performance than dual core. I can't brain this 

Anyway, still satisfied with Nexus's battery life (I had to  ).
Nexus 4 battery life seems just not much improve over Galaxy Nexus. Web browsing~4 hours which Nexus got 3hours+, Video~5 hours which Nexus got 6hours. Not sure about calls. 

Do you've it? Can you buy for me?

1. tablets mostly have micro USB port only, BUT maybe can use OTG, BUT!
2. I have a feeling that those USB Broadband only works with Windows OS.

He doesnt believe me when i say there are no android tablets with standard USB port... and he doesnt seem to want use MIFI either.

IwanAGP, I seen that before actually, but it's too complicated for him. Needs root and OTG cable.

My dad says he wants to buy cheap throw-away china tablets for his employees.. I keep telling him to just put in data enabled SIM card into it, but he insist for me to find an android tablet with standard USB port!

It's kinda frustrating...

Not that hard to unlock actually. You can set error tolerance. Imagine put a picture with maybe 50~100 circles/baloon

Then only you know which balloon is right to unlock your phone  Almost infinite combination see if you enable 1~3 gesture to unlock. Can choose to 'poke' on one balloon then draw a line between another 2 balloons and draw a circle around another balloon. That makes infinite combination

For seriously cheap and 'throw-away' tablet (means it needs to be cheap!), you can't find one with 3G Card slot built in. There's some from China but their spec is way outdated and not worth the price. For china tab, can look at Ainol. So far it's the most well known china brand tablet IMO. No sim slot. But got OTG for external broadband.

Btw... Only like model from 2 years back have Standard USB Port, I mean china tablet. Some even have Ethernet RJ45 port
