is it the letter that you need to write saying that you want to cancel the current insurance (old car)?

Hmm did I forgot to press post or mod delete my post?? @@

Anyway, Just paid the deposit, now wait 7 days to get my car. I highly recommended this SA from Klang/Road Show. 1st he is very hardworking total he has to drive all the way from klang to kuchai lama 3 times, (1st:bank loan document, 2nd:Deposit, 3rd: hand over car).

Since now ipod is no more, he gimme these gifts, Smartag, hat, some cup thingy, umbrella and full tank fuel.

Ok, managed to retrieve my username and I decided to join in after reading all the post here.

I tested the mirage twice at 2 different centres.

1st test on December 2012.
There was only display unit at the showroom. So the SA sense my strong interest and finally drove it out and let me tried the Mirage.

He look so worried while i was driving. tongue.gif I can't get to a full test because we drove less than 1.5km. Hardly hit to 80kmh.

However I managed to do a U-Turn and like most people mentioned, can feel the body roll significantly.

2nd Testdrive on 1st Jan 2013.
I went to another sales centre and they got a test drive unit. Hooray,
there were 3 of us. 1 SA, Me and my friend.
My friend is kinda bigsize about 83kg. He was sitting behind.

I hit on the gas, can feel the pickup. Smooth driving and I tried to increase the speed. I can feel the 'pulling' force. U really can overtake cars easily on parallel speed. We drive uphill too and it was like "wow! fantastic". All the way up with no sweat.

I managed to hit more than 100km/h. Drove for about 3km. We stopped and have a little chat with the SA and went back to my friend's car. He is driving a Proton Inspira 2.0.

He said, Mirage power is abit stronger than his 2 years Inspira.
huh.gif and noise insulation is better than his inspira too. Thought I am not comparing with his Inspira just that he suddenly mentioned it.
He said the car was so silent from inside with radio and aircon off. You hardly can hear vehicles that passby unless they sound the "Horn".

Just 1 thing, we still can feel the body roll or simply to say, when u try to do a 90' turn you will feel like 1 side of the wheels will lift up.

Apart from that, everything is nearly perfect.
Good pickup,
Pretty impressive acceleration,
Up to date safety technologies,
Good noise reduction
Powerful Mivec engine,
Solid doors
Good driving height

Now I only have 1 concern. A few Mirage owner here already drove it on highway. While driving on highway above 100km/h and there is a strong wind blowing from side, how is the stability ? This car is designed tall. I noticed driver and passenger seat is higher compare to other small cars.

I am thinking if I get this car, I might lower down the suspension to make it more stable and improve its cornering.

Thx to everyone who reply. smile.gif

Last time I personally went to the branch (Zurich, formerly MAA) to cancel my policy, they terus give me a letter that states the insurance is canceled and in another page states the amount of NCD accumulated.

I just hand over that particular page to my SA, he kawtim in less than a month.

My SA call me today, he said the accessories has arrived but need to pay another rm300 to install it, WTH! have anyone here been told the same thing?
*
Just confirm with my SA. The price of the accessories are INCLUSIVE of labor fee. So you just have to pay for the acc. price. No Labor fee included.
My SA also mention that if u go buy the acc. from a branch that doesn't owned any service centre, and you bring it to the service centre that doesn't owned by the same company from the place u buy the acc., labor fee will be charged.

So advice you go buy from company that actually owned service centre. Mitsubishi website got list of it.

driving constant 100KM/H no problem, quite stable still, over that it will be abit wobbly since the car is light weight
and what i found out, the bodyroll is caused by its super soft spring that is designed for comfort
if u want to eliminate the bodyroll, u dn't need any strut bar actually, the handling is pretty good already
u just need to change the spring to harder/stiffer spring
but that will make the comfort decrease...so u have to choose which one u want
