your warranty no matter its AP or SME is literally gone the moment you root your device. its their goodwill to help you repair without checking. they have every single right to reject your warranty claim if they found your device is rooted.

Writing text is not so practical if you are in a hurry, though the dictation so much better than note1 coz first you need to take out the pen and then write and then correcting dictation, too much friction. But for drawing and clipping graphic on screen it is awesome. But I do use it to jot notes when I m not in a rush, like in a boring meeting or brainstorming session.

After you've traveled 1000 miles or something (1mile=1.6km), you get rights to edit the map. So those mega-travelers have already marked with the editor. I haven't reached that level yet coz I don't always use it, and I don't drive very far to work either. And I find the editor a bit cacat, tried loading it before.

However, for ad-hoc stuff like police trap camera, it is markable by any Waze user as they pass by, lasts only temporarily.

what case are you all using with your note 2? as i can see,only ROCK series cases are available for note2. waiting sgp. hmmm
