Hi Lucifal,
Do I need to make a call to book for my M3 service?
I think so right. Thanks.
*
That would be the best procedure so we can actually double check all parts are available before you actually send your car in to minimize waiting time. However, you can also send your car in anytime at the moment, since we're still new and volume is low.

May I know what mileage are you sending in for service?

I'm going for the 1st time service smile.gif
Probably in next week but still can't decide the date.
*
Grats on your Mazda3, first service is reasonably fast, around 30-45min max if there's no problems with your car. We have parts in stock, so you can actually come anytime you want.

Bro Lucifal,

My ride is 5 months old having few troubles and hope you can sort it out for me,

Front windscreen:
I'm glad to hear sg besi branch has Tribos application centre, mine is a FL model that comes with coating. Recently i find that the windscreen and windows are giving me a hard time especially in the rain during night drives. Once wiper swipes, it left a blurry mark on the windscreen and will go off like after few seconds. Problem is when there are lights from opposite direction or street light, it will produce a glare on the windscreen and i hardly see the road. I thought it was a wiper problem, problem still exist although i changed the wiper.

Passenger side Speakers:
Last week the tweeter and front speaker has gone no sound at all, can this be fixed at your service center instead of going GS auto.

Hope you can sort these out for me so we can proceed to your service center.
Thanks.
*
For the front windscreen, I'm suspecting a few issues. Previous wiper has damaged the coating on the windscreen. Your ride is 5months old, I suggest you make an appointment with us so that we can schedule a Tribos specialists to look at your issue before your 6 months warranty for Glass is up. This is a serious case if its causing temporary blindness of the road. If you are free any weekdays next week, I'll personally get the specialists from Tribos UK to come look at your car.

As for the passenger speakers & audio, we would love to fix it, however, the system is warrantied by GS Auto. They will be the best people to go to for the DVD and sound players/speakers. Of course, if you're looking at a change, we can recommend our panels. Nearly all (even Bermaz) SC will refer you back to GS for most of the accessories in your car, hence, its better to go direct to them. However, if you have any problem with GS, please do let me know. We will offer our assistance in whatever way possible to solve it. Remember, when you're buying a Mazda, you're not buying only the car, you're buying the Zoom-Zoom experience.

If there's anything , feel free to ask.

Hope your can help me to fix it during my 1st service later.
Cheers.

Not a problem, shiusheng. Hope you have a Zoom zoom experience!! Also, we're doing Tribos and for mazda lovers who didn't have the Tribos protection, do consider getting a Tribos protection for your car. It will help in keeping your car in showroom condition!!

Hi, M3 blue rider here, currently my car experience:

(1) jerking when in stationary, SC change fuel filter and mounting for me but the jerking still there

(2) tin dragging on road like sound occur at rear when in driving condition

Anyone know what is the problem? Thanks for your advise.
*
Here's what we think might be possible,

(1) Possibility of the spark plugs, and chances of the air intake hose area needs to be clean.

(2) This will need a test drive to diagnose the problem.

Hi Lucifal, may I how much does the coating cost?

And how long does it take for my 2nd service? (10k mileage).

I only have one problem which I want to complain. The flickering sound at the rear dashboard area..not sure exactly where, but some of the owners here also experienced it.
*
2nd service takes around 1hr+. As for your problem, please highlight to our service advisors and they'll attend to it when you send your car for your free service. These things are better to have an actual look at it, cause I really can't diagnose what type of sound.

As for Tribos coating, the costs varies due to the amount of preparation work needed depending on the condition. Basic Tribos costs only RM1,688.00 for body, alloy rims, glass + interior fabric. Normally just Tribos alone takes 2-3 hours, the preparation work takes anytime from 1hr-3hrs.

Hi how much is the tribos protection. How long does it take to apply this Tribos ?
*
Just PM'ed you. Usually it takes around 2-3 hours to Tribos a car. However, preparation work like light scratch and watermarks might take up to 2hours depending on car condition.

Some cars that have really bad condition will be recommended to have their body repainted instead.

Bro Lucifal,

Who can i refer to regarding to my tribos issue? Might come over next week before the 6 months windscreen warranty over.

Thanks.
*
My advise is to email your problems and pictures to the email inside your warranty card. That will trigger the warranty claim process through their UK HQ. However, this process might take a bit longer due to holidays.

OR

Do make an appointment with us in advance and tell the service advisors who're attending to your call about your Tribos issue (the details) and they will arrange the right Tribos people to be there awaiting for your arrival. Click my signature for our 3S center location & contact.

my fren just got m3 2.0 silver last night. but i din found any tribos application on the car paintwork.
any warranty on the tribos coating? rclxub.gif and i found swirl marks too  rclxub.gif
*
OMG that's really awful. Please check if your friend have a Tribos warranty card inside his passenger compartment area & a Tribos sticker on the windscreen (most likely taken off if he did a window tint). Kindly also double check with the dealer that your friend took his car from to confirm is it Tribos'ed if you cannot find the warranty card.

If your friend has the warranty card, kindly email your details to the contact stated with your warranty card details. Warranty is valid for 3 years thus you should not have problem claiming if there's something wrong with Tribos coating on your car.

Kindly also make an appointment with our 3S Centre to have your car looked at. We will elevate the warranty process to an express lane.

hi bro lucifal,

i purchased a pack of tribos shampoo and tribos spray from service centre. noticed that there is a layer of gel on the top of the bottle for the tribos spray. that gel could not dissolve after several shake and remain on the bottle.

is that normal? I have checked with the service centre and even other stocks they possess are having the same issue.
*
Just got confirmation from Tribos that these are normal. So no worries !!

As far as I know, waxing is not necessary, and certain wax might damage the tribos coating. I'll need to clarify this with Tribos on what type of wax is harmful and what's not.

Lucifal... Since you are a authorized Mazda SC, I have 2 questions...

1) Do you or your team know how to fix the annoying knocking sound that comes when you go on uneven road?
2) Can you adjust the headlight sensor so that the headlight is not turned on when the sun is still bright?

Please let me know as I am almost due for 20k service. Also could you please let me know your operations hours. Maybe I can send to your SC for my next service.
*
Happy New Year !!! As for your problems, we would need to look and test drive your car to be able to diagnose the source of the problem. Your info has already helped us narrow down some potentials.

As for the headlight sensor, its on the center top of the windscreen, and my guess that it will need some calibration. Most likely the settings were set to Low.

Hi lucifal..

I'm having problem with my radio reception, for all the radio station I'm tuning I have background noise, it is just very irritating. It gets worse when I increase sound volume.

Can I get it fix under warranty period? Need to be at main service center which have more comprehensive spare parts?
*
Hi there, if its a radio thing, its still under warranty and most likely you'll be directed to GS Auto nearby the PJ Service centre. I don't think any SC stock spare parts related to radio or sound system.
