Do you think if i still can make it for April delivery if I make a booking next month for sedan 2.0 spec?
*
Next month as in Jan or Feb 2014??

But then again, its very hard to say, as the total amount of bookings is nationwide so can't really predict. A good way is to look at when M3 Skyactiv had a preview at 1-U in November.

Since then, total bookings have reached 350+ in around 1month+

Just information for those who have missed out ..

M3 SkyActiv 2014 - Available CBU units 1st batch 450 units.
Current Situation - about 350-400 bookings. Launching in March 2014, but maybe will bring forward to February, due to overbooking happening in January 2014.

Probable, after the 1st batch finished, it will move into CKD version or wait for 2nd batch, which will be around 3-6 months waiting period, as Mazda Japan is overbooked for their global supply for M3 Skyactiv

All dealers + branch will have limited allocation, hence, for those who're still sitting on the fence, its time to decide.

CKD spec is unknown as of now.

I-Activesense comes standard with the 2.5L version as far as I know and Malaysia is not bringing in the 2.5L.

Official specs posted on our FB page.

As for the difference on CKD & CBU. There's no official information as of now.

In my own Opinion, generally, CKD will be cheaper than CBU. And it comes with certain specification removed. From what we've seen with CX-5, here's my guess,

1. Sunroof - removed
2. 18" -> 17"
3. Soul red & Crystal pearl white color will not be available.
4. Maybe add in leather seats (like current M3 2.0) as standard

Let me help explain the situation on deliveries. Car arrived and was distributed on the last 2 days. However, due to Puspakom being full , none of the M3 can be inspected on time and hence cannot proceed with registration.

Furthermore, nowadays, with the JPJ still adapting to the new MySikap system, registration cannot be guaranteed on the same day, UNLESS, car owners present themselves in JPJ offices.

We have 8 units of M3 in stock, but couldn't even get 1 to complete the registration process due to Puspakom being full.

M6 is too big for her, probably bang it around too much ~_~ .

The CX-5 was a contender, but the wait time is 5 months ..

And I frankly cbf-ed to wait so long . LOL .

The mazda 3 has ready stock for red, so it seems like the best buy for now .

Test drove,
Honda City, Civic
Toyota Vios, Altis
Nissan Almera, Slyph
Mazda CX-5, 2, 3

For 140k, I think the mazda is the best fit at the moment, and its a car that I dont mind driving during the weekends when i go out with parents.

My F30 has been lowered and setup with sports suspension, my parents have issues getting in and out of the car due to the low ride height >.<

Any recommendation on a SA or a specific service center.

I read that you guys are having some problem with the absorber .. not entirely an issue for me as long as there is a known fix tongue.gif

do u also fix windscreen?
*
Yes we do, and we also do insurance claim for accident cases.

For windscreen, all you need is to bring your car + insurance policy cover and we'll handle the rest.

For accident cases, if you have not made a police report within 24hours, you can bring your car over (if its driveable) and we will assign someone to assist you in your police report as well.

If you've made the report, then we will handle from there, don't need you to return to the police station few times for the judgement results.

Hi mazda folks,

I'm contemplating getting the new mazda 3 sometime end of this year. Can  anyone comment:
1)Ride comfort - Is it hard and harsh on the 18inch rims ?

2)Is the car noisy i.e. outside road noise can be heard inside the cabin while driving at high speed?

3) What is the 0-100km/h performance in seconds, performance ?

4) Does the i-stop restarts the engine smoothly without jerk and pause, the moment you take off from a standstill?

Thanks.

End of the year will be ckd already.
