a 2010 Mazda3 2.0L is selling around 94k - 105k (New price = 124k)
a 2010 Civic 2.0L is selling around 98k - 107k (New price = 128k)

a 2010 Nissan Sylphy is selling around 87k - 93k (New price = 124k)

The above prices does not include the Cost of Maintenance, in which Mazda provides 5 years TOTALLY Free maintenance where even Parts & Engine oil are FREE for 5 years (Labor is free also).

Other brands, Honda is offering free labor on alternate service, while Toyota is first 3 service free labor. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

5 years of free service including parts comes to around another 6-8k savings, inclusive the calculation of yearly increase in parts & labor costs.

Mazda is affiliated with Shell. And all engine oil provided is Semi-Synth. You will need to do a top up, if you're looking for Synth.

Its standard service every 10k km after the first 1000km.

Let me explain about the Mazda FREE Maintenance program.

It covers all service parts , labor, engine oil & even service tax. Basically you don't need to pay a single cent for the duration of the FREE maintenance program.

Mazda's FREE maintenance program comes in 3 years or 60,000km (whichever comes first) or 5 years or 100,000km whichever comes first.

The models covered by the 5 years FREE Maintenance program are Mazda3, Mazda5, Mazda8, Mazda CX-7 & Mazda CX-9.

the 3 years FREE Maintenance program covers CX-5, Mazda2 and Mazda6.

Brake pads are not included. That's a wear & tear parts. Service parts are

1. Oil Filters
2. Shell Semi Synth Engine Oil
3. Air Filters
4. Fuel Filters

These are replaced according to the mileage interval schedule. Overall cost savings for 5 years of FREE Maintenance would be in the range of 4-6k, inclusive of price increases on Engine Oil , parts & Labor.

Service interval is first 1000km, then 10,000km and every 10,000km after.

Warranty is 5 years or 100,000km whichever come first.

This hot topic about the M3 Skyactive doesn't have an estimated launch date as of now. Rumors in the market are saying End 2013 or 2014.

Price wise, also no idea at the moment. I read that it will debut in Sept 2013 motor show (should be frankfurt), hence end of 2013 to bring to Malaysia would be really near impossible.

As for those who are attracted to the current deals & promo, I can say the HatchBack is reasonably good. I think many will agree that the current M3 design does not age, and still looks good. Handling is still one of the best (I drive M3 2.0) compare to Civic, Altis.

Mazda3 Skyactiv 2.0 will only be available in sedan CBU. Pre-booking is now opened, and delivery is expected in March/April 2014.

However, there's only limited units, and judging from response, MAYBE, when launch in March, waiting period will already go up to 4-6 months.
