wow.. good news..... but how about after feb ?
*
That i'm unsure of as the instruction by Bermaz only covers Jan & Feb 2013. Maybe they might extend, maybe not.

As for the M3 SKYActive, it is not available until at least 2014. No news so far, might be end 2014 or 2015 instead.

Hi Lucifal,
Do you know whether the Mazda 3 1.6 liter will have the SkyActiv? Thank you.
*
As far as the new Mazda 3, its a Full Model Change, the 3rd SKYActive range after the CX5 & Mazda 6.

As for the 5 + 5, its all Mazda Dealers & Branches. Else there'll be double standards.

Bro lucifal,
Im still waiting ur answer, can the auto headlamp sensor be calibrated, last time sc told me it cant be done... Sought ur answer since I really want the sensor less sensitive, even 4pm in the afternoon the headlamp already light up
*
There's a switch to off the Auto sensor according to my Service Manager. However, he explained that maybe due to the tinting (too dark) it might affect the sensor to auto-on earlier than usual. As far as I was informed, its not possible to calibrate.

He recommends that you bring in your car to our SC and double confirm & check on your vehicle.

Hi lucifal.. today I booked Mazda 3 1.6 from Serdang showroom (Thrive Glory Sdn Bhd).. and I was too late to see the 5+5 promotion.. so I'm still eligible for the 5+5 even tho its not from prima merdu/bermaz?
*
By right, the 5+5 promo is available to all. It does not differentiate between dealers or branches. However, please contact the dealer you bought with for confirmation just in case.

I can't guarantee we can fix your problem, but if you send your car in to our SC, we will try to have a look at it again and diagnose as best as we can.

Thanks for sharing your experience IminmyownworlD. Yeah I'm going to send into another service centre and see if they can help with my problem.

Lucifal, I think I would like to try your service centre but my next service won't be due until May this year.

Like other service centres, if I want to make an appointment to service my car but with extra checking like my case above. Would I need to book the appointment on week days only?

Do you have the spare parts on stock if let's say there is a defect on my absorber? Do you have wheel alignment facility in your workshop?
*
Nope, we will check all problems even on weekends. However, we can't guarantee the duration of your wait since we'll need to do the checking. The best is make an appointment with our friendly Service Advisors, and tell them in advance your problem so that they can prepare upfront what is needed and also have an expectation of what to do when your car arrives at our SC.

We do not have spare parts stock ready, but it will usually take us 1-3 days to get the stock in SC unless Bermaz themselves is out of stock.

Yes, we have wheel alignment & balancing facility in our workshop.

Other than that, we're authorised to do repair, body & paint as well.

Looking forward to your visit soon smile.gif

Base on the current reviews, I have just added in the Mazda 3S @ Jalan Sg Besi as one of the recommended service centers for Mazda 3 owners.

Here is the map of the service center:

Hi everyone here... seems everyone here are driving the latest model of M3 while I have just managed to get a 2007 model Sedan 1.6 M3 (used car lar of course)

I found some problems of the car that really need someone expert to help me and at least advise me what should I do... bro lucifal, i know where's your service center is, so would you guys open next week or close for entire week until 18 Feb?

I "guess" that my old M3 engine mounting is gone, the gearbox (i guess again) speed sensor sometimes dunnno how to shft the gear correctly, etc etc...  doh.gif

Next week, we're closed on Monday - Wednesday. Reopening on Thursday though.

Hi guys,

Anyone removed their Rear view mirror on their Mazda3 2.0 before? I have a unit of rearview mirror with auto dimming and built-in camera. I would like to replace it with the current, but when i took it to the workshop, they tried but failed to remove it due to the placement of auto rain and auto light sensors. Anybody can help with this? Thanks smile.gif
*
From our experience, 70% when u remove that, the windscreen will crack.

Well, not removing the whole leg that holds the rear view mirror. but just remove the rearview mirror alone ? without removing the leg that attached on the windscreen?

ps. I am reaching my 30K service soon. I will give sg.besi SC for a change this time. I have a few issues to address before going there. That is "burnt smell coming out from the air con when accelerate hard. Any experiences on that? tq very much.
*
I'm really unsure since I personally have not experienced just removing the rear mirror. Will have to check your accessory & technical side.

As for burnt smell coming from Air-cond, if its been going on for a long time, I suggest you bring it in to any SC ASAP.

All Mazda SC provides Mineral, Semi Synth & Fully Synth SHELL engine oil. Every service will include change of Oil Filters + Engine Oil and others depending on the mileage.

Some SC will have huge drums of engine oil while some have 4L & 1L bottles. Don't worry as your service is free of charge as it includes parts & labour. The only difference you need to top up would be if you upgrade to Fully Synthetic Engine Oil.

Please bear in mind, you're not allowed to use your own engine oil in most SC while some allow.

Btw, for those who are upgrading to Fully Synthetic when servicing in our SC @ Jln.Sungai Besi, we're giving a $10 KFC Voucher !!!!

Hi there,

M3 2.0 Sedan is a fun to drive car with very good response & handling. Of course the power is one of the better compare to the 2.0's in the market.

From my own M3 usage, a full tank is around $70-$80 and runs around 350-400km plus minus.

As for Mazda's 5+5 package, the free maintenance includes all service parts like Engine Oil, oil filter, air filter, A/C Filter, Fuel filter, but replaced at different intervals. Service intervals after 1000km is every 10,000km. On average, a 5years total FREE maintenance for a Mazda 3 comes to around $5000 - $7500 savings.

Hi lucifal,

thanks for your replied..

what do u mean by "but replaced at different intervals".

1. what will be the additional item recommended to install to it to prevent get  sweat.gif stolen??

2.what is current promotion for 2013 mazda 3 sedan 2.0??

3.for mazda sales agent ,actually how much commission they able to get from a mazda 3 2.0 sedan?
*
1. There are many things that can be installed for prevention, but none are 100% guarantee. Pedal lock, steering lock are one of the most economical ways.

2 & 3, i'll PM you the details, but however, generally speaking, the commission is a P&C information and won't be revealed smile.gif.
