My opinion la.. No 1 force him to buy before test drive. RM139 is a premium price but if he willing to pay this price before test drive means he understand the car well enough.. He can blame no 1..
It is also my first time hear customer request to change the tire because it is noisy. Leather seat also need time to fix.. I see M3 owner in lowyat are all very patiently waiting for their turn also but he just unhappy with everything. Mazda not only produce 1 car for him only ma..
I should say he is very very lucky that he did not bought a Volkswagen. Btw if he regret to buy the car, I don mind buy over from him at rm110k.. Haha..

Regarding the dashboard ( driver side ) rattling sound, I adjust the steering height by lowering it, the rattling sound reduced a lot. Not sure if that really help or not.

Today I drove the car to Ipoh from KL.
Based on my observation, here are the things that I found.

1. Tyre noise very noisy ( the noise from the front tyre)
2. Dashboard got rattling sound when going through rough road. Like driving kancil.
3. Got sound coming from glove box. It sound like it's very loose.
4. No wind noise. Cruising at 120 - 130
5. Thanks to lumbar seat. Very comfortable throughout the journey.
*
Dashboard and glove box got sound? Is it obvious? I didn't notice of such sound, only the absorber sound.

Damn. Japan quality no good anymore.

Yea, I think the Malaysian road is the problem.. and the trouble got worst when u use 18" wheels on Malaysian road.. what we felt is only the major bumps, but the vibrations on the car is actually bad too..

Thinking of getting a Mazda 3, and wondering how good is their service network? Would you folks mind sharing your experience with them? Thank you.

I test drove the Mazda 3 and I am quite happy withthe sound to be honest . The rev from the NA engine is lovely .

I just want to ask you guys if you have any SA to recommend and which service center is the most friendly ?

I am buying this car for my mom ..

I find the road noise bearable and the cornering superb.

I dont give this kind of praise lightly as I drive a moderately modified BMW f30. I feel the mazda 3 feels very composed and the torque is good .

High rev shifting gives a very nice tune from the cockpit

For the guy who is complaning about wind noise and tire noise..

Try driving a 240k BMW .. Safe f***in problem . LOL . >.< .

M6 is too big for her, probably bang it around too much ~_~ .

The CX-5 was a contender, but the wait time is 5 months ..

And I frankly cbf-ed to wait so long . LOL .

The mazda 3 has ready stock for red, so it seems like the best buy for now .

Test drove,
Honda City, Civic
Toyota Vios, Altis
Nissan Almera, Slyph
Mazda CX-5, 2, 3

For 140k, I think the mazda is the best fit at the moment, and its a car that I dont mind driving during the weekends when i go out with parents.

My F30 has been lowered and setup with sports suspension, my parents have issues getting in and out of the car due to the low ride height >.<

Any recommendation on a SA or a specific service center.

I read that you guys are having some problem with the absorber .. not entirely an issue for me as long as there is a known fix tongue.gif

If you are around KL area, we're a Mazda 3S + Insurance Claim center, practically a 1-stop center for your Mazda needs. We're situated along Jln.Sungai Besi, after VW Wearnes & Proton , before Toyota & Lexus.
