Went through this thread and found many bought this for "fibre supplement". I thought beta glucan is meant to reduce cholesterol, no?

wtf..fibre supplement?? eat gardenia wholegrain better la. 8g dietary fiber per 2 piece.

Plain oat meal is still better in term of overall 'spec' and benefit.

You are not only getting Beta-glucan content in the oat, but also carbs, protein, fats and also the total calorie. The total beta-glucan content is higher if you take 100g of oat a day than the 2 scoops. Not to mention that price is much cheaper.

I eat the blue quacker oat with water only after soaking it for overnight. the is no restriction on how to prepare. Soak with milk or milo. You may put in fruits, moderate amount of choco chips to make it like your morning cereal.

I heard one of the reasons why this is so sellable is because after taking for 2 weeks, the cholesterol indeed will come down.

Usually, when the LABEL claims that it is healthy... it usually isn't that healthy, but they did it so that it can be sold at a premium..

Most probably your mom ask you to take this.
And most probably, your MOM would've heard about from her friends(aunty aunty la) when she goes to the wet market.
These aunty aunty probably don't even know its content, just because somebody tell them it's good, they start telling their friends that it's good without even knowing it's contents. the normal aunty la.

this product is over-priced(because of it's HEALTH claims), this product is just Oat-Bran . It doesn't matter if it's from sweden or china or .... it's still Oat Bran

The product does not stay fresh for too long, once you have opened it.
