Plain oat meal is still better in term of overall 'spec' and benefit.
You are not only getting Beta-glucan content in the oat, but also carbs, protein, fats and also the total calorie. The total beta-glucan content is higher if you take 100g of oat a day than the 2 scoops. Not to mention that price is much cheaper.
I eat the blue quacker oat with water only after soaking it for overnight. the is no restriction on how to prepare. Soak with milk or milo. You may put in fruits, moderate amount of choco chips to make it like your morning cereal.
